Training (Part 8)

"If you put it like that then we need to change the routine around a bit to allow them to be accustomed to that, but before that lets take them to bed since what they've learned has them stressed and tired. Look Nia is already asleep." Rose said to everyone as they just nodded their heads.

Waking up, Nia felt the warmth and softness of her maids clinging to her body. Noticing that Nia has woken up Rose and Luna open their eyes and scanned her up and down a few times before Rose opened her mouth.

"How are you feeling Nia?" Rose worriedly asked.

Nia was confused at first by the question before she started frowning. She got out of the bed and went to the common room without saying a single word.

Rose and Luna looked at her departing figure with complex and unsure emotions on their faces.

Entering the common room Nia notices that Cassandra and Naomi are already there. The both of them see Nia and come up to her to give her a greeting.

"Raven! Good Morning!" They both said to her as she kept her frown and just nodded acknowledging them before she takes her seat to start the lesson on forging that Freya is teaching. They both frown at Nia's somewhat dismissive attitude towards them before dropping the the subject remembering what happened yesterday with Elaine and what she said.

After they all sat down Freya came to the front and began her lesson on blacksmithing/forging.

"This profession has many uses from creating weapons and armor to specialized components for certain technologies. Before you can get confused on what technology is, you will learn more about it after your year of training when you get to explore more of Thera while on missions."

As Freya was talking about her profession Nia who was sitting down was not paying attention to the lesson. Her eyes were unfocused with thoughts unknown to all others but herself.

As the lesson continued Nia slowly withdrew her frown to a more neutral face, by time the lesson was over Nia appeared to be normal again from the view of the others.

When the lesson was over Freya pulled out three orbs and placed one in front of each of the girls.

"As we told you before these orbs can be used to estimate what profession or weapon you have the most talent for. I've set the orb to estimate your professions, you just need to put some of your mana in it and the symbol for your profession will appear. Now channel some of your mana into the orb." Said Freya

Cassandra, Nia, and Naomi put their hands on the orbs and closed their eyes as mana flowed into their orbs. Rose, Luna, and Eris walked up to Freya and stood next to her as they watched the symbols in the orbs take shape.

Cassandra, Nia, and Naomi channeled their mana into the orbs as its designs started to take shape to the curious eyes of the maids. As the design on the orb were taking form the others were focused on the discussion they were having.

"Naomi's talent orb is forming what looks like a potion bottle. So her talent in alchemy is the highest, its a shame I wanted to teach her blacksmithing." Freya sighed

"Please take care of her Eris."

"Will do Freya, but I hope that Naomi isn't the only one I'm teaching. Like you I also want to teach the girl in my care." Eris said

Luna raised her eyebrow as she spotted Cassandra's design take form and said, "It looks like I will be teaching your girl Freya."

"Please take care of her Luna."

"Naturally, but if we go off the pattern so far it would seem that you would be teaching my Nia blacksmithing." Luna said with a chirp in her tone that did not amuse Rose.

"It sounds like you are hoping that I won't end up teaching Nia." Rose said with an accusatory gaze at Luna.

Luna shamelessly said with a smile, "Of course I would rather teach her myself but if you teach her then you will spend more time with my Nia.-"

Before Luna could continue talking Rose interrupted her with a smug smile and a ridicule filled voice, "Nia's orb has formed the design of runes meaning that I will be teaching her. I can't wait to spend extra time alone with MY Nia with no annoying interruptions."

Luna grit her teeth and turned away from Rose wanting nothing more that to smack the smug off her face.

Before anything escalated Freya clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.

"Now that we know who will be teaching who our training plan for the year is set in stone and we can start immediately."

"Alright"

"Let's go~"

"Right"
