My gift to you Nia

Nia asked with expecting eyes, "Elaine what brings you here other than to congratulating me?"

Elaine chuckled seeing Nia's face that said 'did you bring me anything?'

"I brought you a gift like I said but before I give it to you I want to hear what you did in the mission." Elaine said to Nia who quickly started talking about her experience so fast that she could put may rappers to shame.

After Nia spoke about the mission Rose, Luna, and Elaine talked about how she could have done it in a better way that caused less chaos only to hear Nia respond with, "But it wouldn't have been as fun then if I didn't do it like that."

Elaine chuckled at Nia's response while Rose and Luna sighed blaming Elaine knowing that she would have done something similar maybe not at the same level but close to.

"So then I guess now its time for your present." Elaine said as Nia grew visibly more excited.

"Since I can't give you anything that could help you in the trials, even though I don't care much about rules but the rules for new Sins are not something I can break so I decided that my gift to you Nia is my contact information." Elaine spoke as if her contact info is the best gift that could ever be given.

Nia was a bit disappointed at first until she heard the ending of what she said and was instantly ecstatic giving Elaine a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek as she smiled so beautifully that she unknowingly put the three woman around her in a daze for a second.

Waking up from their dazes Luna picks up Nia and sets her down in-between her and Rose as she glare at Elaine. Rose just looks at Elaine with a face that says 'Why are you still here? Shoo go somewhere else.'

Elaine who sees this is annoyed at how she is being treated by them but thinks about something and shows a sly smile that makes Rose and Luna anxious.

"There is another reason that I came here." Elaine says before Rose or Luna can make her leave.

Nia who hears this is curious what she has to say and asks, "What is it?"

"The first Trial of Sin will be announced tomorrow and all Sin candidates will return by the end of the week for the trial to start."

Hearing what Elaine said got the attention of all three and a serious mood was erupting.

"What will the trial be?" Rose asked

"The first trial will be a one on one duel that will cut the number of Sin candidates down by half. You will fight a random candidate of your Sin to the death and be judged by me Elaine the Sin of Pride, Kara the Sin of Sloth, Andrea the Sin of Gluttony, and Nora the Sin of Wrath. We will be ranking all the Lust, Greed, and Envy candidates separately and the top 10 get prizes such as better weapons or armor, with the top 3 getting a synthetic treasure and and the three girls who get the top spot getting a natural treasure from the treasury."

Rose and Luna who heard the prizes had their mouths opened in shock but Nia was confused and asked, "What is a synthetic treasure and natural one why did it make Rose and Luna like that?"

Elaine explained that synthetic treasures are treasures that were made using a subclass of alchemy that using lower grade material a treasure can be formed while the effects can be good such as increasing cultivation or giving you a new element affinity it will not be as strong as a natural treasure.

She said an example would be that if you used a synthetic treasure to gain a fire affinity compared to a natural treasure then a fire from the synthetic will be harder to train will not have all the capabilities as fire from a natural treasure so synthetic treasures are mainly used to give supporting elements that work well and are compatible with your own affinity.

"What do you mean by supporting elements?"

"By supporting elements I mean that they can be used to enhance the capabilities of another element. For example you have a vibration affinity and if you used a lightning synthetic treasure, you could then get enhanced reflexes, increase the speed of your vibrations, the ability to imbue lightning into your attacks, or even summon lightning to increase your speed. You could get one of those abilities or all of them, it depends on luck when using synthetic treasures. But if you used a natural lightning treasure then you would without a doubt get all those abilities and more like using lightning to attack up close or from a distance." Elaine said enlightening Nia from her questions about the synthetic and natural treasures.

Rose and Luna who came out of their shock during Elaine's explanation asked, "What are the choices for the synthetic and natural treasures that the winners can choose from?"
