CHAPTER 60 Just Like Old Times

  Liam's POV

I pushed my jaw deeper into the wolf's throat, resisting so much desire to just tear his innards out where he lay. But I knew Liam would absolutely end me if I made such a decision. Releasing my jaws from the grip, my sharp fangs slipped out of his flesh so easily and the taste of his blood remained on my tongue.

Stepping backwards, I growled at the brown wolf. My golden fur stained with his blood as it soaked around my mouth and down the tufts of my neck and chest. The look of fear in the eyes of the wolf who cowered before me was a sight I could never be tired of seeing.

Alpha vs Alpha, and I was victorious.

I felt Liam wanting to take back control, and I didn't fight his strength. I was satisfied, even though not completely, I knew I would have an opportunity to rip the wolf to shreds another time, for the time being the sensation of his warm blood in my senses was all I needed to tide me over.
