"I hate these council meets. It's boring. I have a mate now.... Can't I spend time with her and ditch this stupid council meet. " I groaned as Zander fixed my tie, Emma had gone downstairs with the ladies to explore the gardens. Of course Christian was accompanying them.

"Ethan, my boy, my bestie, you have been stuck to Emma like you were attached with super glue, for the past 4 days. You're a king Ethan, an alpha king, you have duties... Now the council does need to know why the alpha of moon howlers was killed so brutally along with the beta. " Said Zander as he patted my chest after fixing my tie

"But I want Emma. I hate the council meeting. I hate the council man with grey hair with pink highlights. He looks like a joker and his face screams 'kill me please' " I said

"Even I hate that man. What was his name... Aha Mario, his name is like the game Mario Bros Mario, he even looks like a mini version of him, except for the grey pink hair" Said Zander

"I know and that Luigi, he looks a like a constipated egg" I said

"But they are our council men, we need to meet them, even if we hate them" Said Zander and I frowned.

"King alpha Kane, do you mind explaining to the council why the alpha of moon howler pack and the beta pf the same pack were found dead with their limbs scattered in all four direction. " Asked the constipated egg faced council member

"They were abusing humans and Omega's. " I growled

"So, you could have brought them to the trial. " Piped one of the members.

"They abused my mate" I growled.

"But they had no idea that she was you mate" Said Mario

"But they still abused the pack members" I growled

"That's why we have a trial" Said Luigi

"But they insulated my mate, after knowing who she is" I growled

"But your a king, you can't just kill your members for bad mouthing your mate" Said Mario

"My mate is the queen of wolves, insulting her means insulting me"I growled, slowly losing my patience.

"But she is a human... She isn't fit for a queen" Spoke Mario

That's it it, he dies today.

I growled, the most ferocious growl my lungs could muster. The walls shook and I saw the council men cower into the corner, the ones supporting my maye, which was literally one, she was a human, I think her name is Miley, I like that one, she can live, the others can die.

Atlas took control and force shifted me. Zander and Brian tried to hold me back in my wolf form.

Atlas was not listening to anyone. I saw one of the gaurds run out but I paid no attention.... That Mario will die.

I began to growl and snap at Mario who covered in a corner with Luigi who kept saying

"Calm down sire, you're a good wolf arnt you" He said

Who made them a council men. The ancient wolves were crazy. They are mad Men. Death is knocking their door and they are mocking me.

"Atlas, calm down baby" Said a sweet voice.... Emma

Who the hell brought her here in the middle of me and my prey. Fuck that person.

"Baby calm down... Who the hell pissed of my Atlas" She questioned and everyone in the room pointed towards  the comic pair Mario and Luigi

"Listen up Mr pink grey hair and constipated egg like person, you pissed of my mate,  I swear you're an idiot. What in the world did you guys tell him? " She asked.

I planted my ass in the ground as I watched my mate tell those two idiots off.

"My queen, they said that as a human you arnt fit to rule" Said Zander.

I growled. She may be human but she is the queen

"Relax Atlas, I accept her as my queen, I'm just answering her question" Said Zander as he held his hands up in surrender.

"Listen up constipated egg and pink hair, I may be human, but I can   assure you that I'll learn how to govern you wolves. I will learn about your laws and regulations. I also just learnt from the Royal gamma Christian that their are other humans in this realm as well. Don't you think in order for them to respect the Royal Family and connect more with us they, need some humans with them" She said as she patted me on the head to keep me calm as I kept growling at the men in front of her

"My name is Mario not pinky hair" Said Mario

"My name is Luigi, not constipated egg faced man" Said Luigi

"And we agree with you partially " They said

"I'm Miley, I was already in support of you, my queen. And you're absolutely right with the fact that for the humans to connect with the royals, a human leader is required. Complaints are there that humans are still weary of the royals right now" Said Miley.

I growled at the two

"Of course, my queen your fit to rule. The meeting is over.. Let's go Miley... We have to investigate the chocolate theif in our headquarter" Said Mario

I growled as I watched everyone exit the  room leaving me and Emma

"Calm down Atlas, it's alright those idiots are gone" She said as she scratched my back and I purred

"You shouldn't get worked up so much, your health might deteriorate" She said as she hugged me while scratching mu back.

I purred and licked her slightly as she kept scratching my back. It feels so good.

" Now, can you let Ethan in control again? "She asked and I whinned.

" I want to spend  time with you, love" I said

"I do to, but let me calm down Ethan as well... I promise, today evening me and you and take a walk in the garden, alone" She said and I nodded.

Atlas gave me control back and I shifted back into my human form.

"Eeeeehhh.for the love of God, get dressed and cover your lower half" Screamed Emma.

I looked down and saw my penis on display. Embarrassing. I grabbed some shorts and wore them as o stood in front of her again

"I'm partially dressed love" I said  she opened her eyes and looked at me

"Are you okay? " She asked

"Yes... No... I don't know.   .... How can they judge you like that" I asked

"Because I'm a stranger to them.... And I'm not of your  species" She said.

"But species should not matter. Your their queen, they have to respect you" I said

"Yes, but just think of it as if you suddenly ruled England along side the queen and told the people your a wolf, no one would respect you... They would be weary of you" She said..

"Then I'll just growl at them till they submit to me" I said

"That's not always the option, Ethan, sometimes you need to calm down and think" She said

"What are you trying to say? " I asked as I hugged her to calm down the wave of anger rising within me.

"I'm saying, I need to earn your people's respect and for that... I need to impress them at the ball.... You need to teach me about your rules and  etiquettes and also how your world functions" She said

"Does it mean I get to spend more time with you? "I asked

" Yes, it does mean that.... You will have to spend extra time with me" She said

"Then let's go ahead with this plan " I said

"Yuppies... When do we start? "

"Tomorrow morning, sharp at 10" I said and she nodded

"Okie dokie... Now let's go and grab lunch with the pack" She said and I groaned.

"Atlas, tell me what do you like the most?" She asked as I stroll around in the garden with her, Atlas was in control while I relaxed at the back of his mind

"I like you to, I meant as a hobby? What do you like the most? " She asked

"Foot ball and the piano" He said

"You know how to play the piano? " She asked shocked

"When do I get to hear you play? "

"Whenever you want darling"

"Now? "

"Of course, follow me"

Atlas held her hand as he led her to our floor and then to the music room wher there was a lone piano with a stool standing near the window. Atlas sat down on the stool and placed her on his lap, sideways as he dropped his arms around her, caging her, as he leaned forward to play the tune for My heart will go on.

"Atlas that was so beautiful... I loved it. Who knew the angry alpha, knew how to play such a soulful song" She said

"Darling this is a secret between you and me, do t tell Zander or anyone else, that j know how to play the piano, I have reputation to keep"he said

" Of course my alpha, I'll keep your secret.but you need to promise me, that you will play the piano to me, every ight before bed and also teach me"she said

"Of course"

"Does Ethan, know how to play? " She asked

"He know how to play the guitar"

"Wow, I am one lucky girl, my mate can play the piano and guitar. Can you sing as well? "

"No sweetheart, neither of us can sing. We tried, but we sounded like a dying goat" He replied with a chuckle

"Tomorrow, when Ethan teaches you the etiquettes, please don't assume that it's compulsory for you to learn them all within 3 days, just know that your perfect and their is no need for you to change. If my men can't accept going, it's their loss. " He said as he kissed the side of her head.

"I know, but still I will try to learn as much as I can"

"Just don't over do yourself and stress. I have heard that humans when stressed they get sick. I can't let that happen"he said

" I promise, I will not stress"

"Good, now let's get you to bed, it's late and you're practically falling asleep on me" He said and she laughed.

We carried her back to bed before laying her down. I was back in control. I snuggled up in front of her, cuddling her. Three nights with her, made me realise, spooning her is not the best way to sleep, she moves a lot, the best way to sleep with her is to cuddle her, that way if she wishes to. Move then she can lay on top of me. Every morning I wake up to her sprawled across my front, snoring softly.

"Don't let her know that we know she snores, I have heard human women become aggressive when told that they snore" Said Atlas

"I won't tell her, but can you keep your big fat mouth shut? " I asked

"Of course I can, you dumb human. Now close your eyes and sleep... I need my beauty rest" He growled

I closed my eyes as I stroked her hair and let sleep overpower me.

"I love you my love, I let these words slip today but I think you didn't realise that I actually meant that. I'll tell you those 3 words again, when I know you're ready to love me back. I will be waiting for that day " I whispered
