No! Emily's heart was filled with resistance as she shook her head and drew back, but Klaus immediately wrapped his hand around her waist.
She struggled, but his grasp was already firm, and their bodies were pressed tightly together. Her chest was crushed against his broad, solid chest, and his warm breath fanned her face.
Her heart raced, and she longed to flee.
He seemed to sense her thoughts, and he whispered into her ear in a slightly raspy, deeply hushed voice, "Be a good girl."
She looked up to see his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed, and the next second, without warning, his lips were on Emily's mouth. His hands clasped her tighter, and his kisses were domineering and passionate.
He forced her mouth open with his tongue and quickly took control. He greedily sucked on the sweet taste in her mouth, and Emily was completely passive under his assault.
She was dizzy from lack of oxygen, and his kiss continued as if it had been premeditated. He used his skill in kissing to make her want to surrender, and her legs soon lost their strength and went limp.
She collapsed into his arms, and he placed his hand on her waist, then slowly lowered her until her body lay flat on the grass.
His mouth left her lips, and finally, she could breathe. The scent of grass in the air gradually roused her, and she became aware that she was lying on the grass.
The flame of the candle flickered around her; she saw the white, round moon overhead; she saw Klaus's face beneath his sunglasses; she saw the priest standing, and Dyson watching her.
Then she heard the tearing of her wedding dress, and could distinctly feel her bare legs exposed to the air. His palms pressed against her calves, then slowly slid deeper into her thighs.
"Close your eyes," he said in a subdued voice.
The moment she closed her eyes, tears actually welled up in the corners of her eyes. She knew she had no choice, but she still could not accept mating with Klaus under the gaze of a stranger.
It made her feel ashamed.
She endured, praying silently that the moment would soon be over.
At that moment, she faintly heard voices in her ears.
"What? Rogues are fighting in the royal capital? Are you sure?" Dyson's voice broke the silence, as if he had just received an urgent call.
"I'll go check it out now," Dyson said, hanging up. He was no longer in the mood to watch the spectacle, now that he had more pressing matters to attend to.
When the quiet returned, Emily heard Klaus say to her, "Now you can get up, they're all gone."
It was only after a few seconds that Emily opened her eyes. She sat up straight and looked around in amazement at the deserted surroundings, where no one was to be seen except Klaus.
There was a sound of footsteps in the trees, and Emily looked alertly in the direction of the noise. The next second, Marx stepped out of the shadow of the trees.
"I had people pretend that Rogues were fighting in Dyson's area, and he should be on his way to catch them right now," Marx reported to Klaus.
"You're doing a great job," Klaus said. "Send a message to the royal family tomorrow morning and tell them that I have completed the wedding ceremony. Also inform Meiss that I want to meet with the king."
"Yes, Alpha," Marx said. "Should we go back to the hotel now?"
"You send Emily back to the hotel first. I have other things to deal with. I'll call a taxi separately."
"Miss Emily," Marx walked over to Emily, who was crouched down. "Please allow me to take you back to the hotel."
"It's Luna," Klaus corrected Marx, his tone full of authority. "She's Luna now."

Blue Aurora Bar
Dyson was in a terrible state of mind. Only an hour before, he had been informed by his subordinates that several Rogues had been spotted fighting in the Royal City, and they had vanished by the time he arrived at the scene.
He happened to be on duty tonight, and if he had known that there were rogues daring to make trouble in the royal domain and had not seized the troublemakers, the king would certainly have censured him for his dereliction of duty.
Perhaps he shouldn't have been there tonight at all. He had thought that Klaus wouldn't dare to mate in his presence, but he was mistaken.
He didn't expect Klaus to discard even the last vestige of his dignity in order to get his pack back.
It doesn't matter, as long as he tells the royal representative that he didn't witness Klaus' mating with the southern bride from start to finish, he can use that as a reason for the royal representative to declare Klaus' wedding null and void, giving him more time to stop Klaus from regaining his pack.
"Give me a shot of agave," Dyson told the bartender at the bar.
He needed a good drink and then to find a random she-wolf to spend the night with. So he scanned his surroundings, trying to find a suitable she-wolf, when the face of Klaus suddenly came into view.
"You're here, so soon," Dyson taunted Klaus. "Don't tell me, you only had five minutes to mate with that southern bride."
Klaus stepped in front of Dyson, who punched him unguardedly.
"It's fun to watch my mating ritual, isn't it?" Klaus twisted his neck from side to side, and the murderous aura of the alpha wolf enveloped him, so that the onlookers shrank from him.
"Are you crazy?" Dyson stood up, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with his hand, and glared at Klaus.
"How dare you do this to me here?"
The pub belonged to the royal family, and Dyson thought that Klaus wouldn't dare to lay a hand on him here, but he was wrong.
Klaus charged at Dyson at breakneck speed, moving so quickly that it was difficult to keep up. Dyson tried to parry, but Klaus's fist had already struck him hard in the stomach. The whistle of the fist caused Dyson to grunt in pain and step back.
Dyson struggled to regain his footing, and with a flash of anger in his eyes, he growled back at Klaus. His moves were swift, but they were still a beat slower than Klaus's. Klaus easily dodged Dyson's punch and followed with a whirlwind kick to Dyson's side. The leg was so hard that Dyson was kicked into a spin and nearly lost his balance.
The fight was one-sided. Klaus was precise and relentless in every attack, his punches and kicks always finding holes in Dyson's defense. Dyson tried to counterattack, but his offense and defense were clearly unable to match Klaus's tempo.
The air was filled with the muffled sound of fists striking flesh and stifled gasps. Each blow from Klaus was a declaration of his power and dominance over his opponent. Dyson's blond hair flew in the air with each blow, and his face began to look weary.
Eventually, Klaus landed a powerful uppercut to Dyson's jaw with precision, sending his entire body flying before he fell back to the floor with a dull thud.
At that point, the bar's alarm went off, and several tall security guards immediately rushed over and pulled them apart.
"You've witnessed my mating ritual and want to humiliate me," Klaus yelled at Dyson. "Dyson, you're a bastard."
Four security guards stood between Dyson and Klaus to prevent them from fighting again, and the reporter held up his camera to capture the scene of their fight. Dyson reflected as the flashbulb went off.
He had been tricked, and it was now known that he had witnessed the mating ceremony of Klaus, whose marriage was legal, no matter how he might justify it tomorrow.
Two security guards forcibly dragged Klaus away, and Klaus smiled triumphantly at Dyson before leaving.
"Klaus, we're not done," Dyson roared.
