The number of boxing organizations in the world was unbelievable. In the US alone, there were more than 70 of them. In reality, a lot of boxing organizations could no longer effectively organize boxing matches. Those organizations would only occasionally appear in regional competitions, provide support in organizing competitions, and sometimes work together with larger and stronger organizations to jointly certify world champions, to show that they still existed.
