Huzi's grandfather was livid. His veins bulged on his neck and forehead, deepening the dark shadow that loomed on his face. "Are you intent on disgracing us further! Hurry up and leave!" he snarled at Huzi's grandmother.
In the heat of the moment, they had caused quite the scene, after hearing from Baozi how many nobles had given their family various gifts. They only wanted their share of the respect. Instead, they were left without a shred of dignity.
They stormed out, dragging Baozi along with them.
Baozi couldn't resist asking, "Grandfather, are we just leaving the gifts?"
"Take nothing! They're disowning us!" spat Huzi's grandfather.
"Huzi, your grandpa wants respect! How about you give him a good start?" someone shouted.
On hearing this, Huzi's face turned scarlet, "Can I do it another time? I don't have any to give right now!"
"Pfft!"
"Pfft, haha...."
"Haha...."
...
The crowd couldn't help but burst into laughter.
