All Bow Before The Magical Villain

ON HIATUS If transmigration fails, try rebirth. In a magical world where power spoke before all else he would be the most powerful of them all and with their bones he would build his throne. Dex Atticus had transmigrated from earth to a magical continent. He lived right, saved millions and became the justified magic emperor. He had been the hero, or that was how he saw himself after all, it was what transmigrators did in the books. But he was betrayed by those he saved and killed by those who wanted his power. And just when he thought that death had come calling, he returned to start over again. And this time, he had a hunting system as a cheat. All magical inheritances would be his, all the glory would be his, all the wealth in the world he would claim and the most outstanding women, he would take. All his enemies would fall on his sword and every creature on the continent would bow before him, the new reigning supreme villain emperor. He would not be the hero they rejected, he would be the villain they loved. When they asked why he was cruel to the good guys, Dex would simply say, "I am allergic to heroes." First kill in this life.

To the guys who had caused him much pain in his past life and were intent on doing the same thing again, Dex intended to show no mercy.

The heavens were kind to those who went after what they desired and cruel to those who waited around for it to bless them.

He dove down like a bird, and teleported half way through his leap.

The array in place here was made of crystal stones, the fire kind which were also the most common. It was also a level one array, the easiest to break apart.

All Dex had to do was physically get rid of one crystal and the entire thing would fall apart. No barrier, no protection.

His enemies did not see him coming until the last possible second, when he kicked one crystal away.

"Damn it, red hair, it's him." The man shouted.

Dex had his mortal sword in hand, a weapon that did not connect to any elements. It was the kind that commoners who dabbled in martial arts wielded.

That did not take away from its sharpness and with swiftness it went through the chest of the first member of the Adama guild. The blood flew up as he retrieved his sword and teleported out of their midst.

All the other mages were awake, alert and ready for battle but they were perplexed by Dex's ability to disappear so quickly out of their sight.

The flameborn lion jumped into the middle of the battle before it reach it's peak.

It's hot flames exploded in a wild fire, setting two mages on fire quickly.

From where he was hiding, up in the tree their screams were like music to Dex's ears.

A water mage rushed away, trying to escape into the water. He was screaming in absolute terror for help. He probably regretted his greed now, but it was too late.

Dex aimed at him and killed him with with his arrow swiftly.

Only one mage was left, an earth mage that had encased himself in stone and trying to escape as a stone man. Dex could not get to him with the weapons he had. Neither the sword nor the arrows on him were powerful enough to go through stone.

This was not the same for the flameborn lion, it ripped into the earth mage with it's hard, sharp claws. It was like a sharp knife cutting through soft butter so easily.

"Holy cow!!" Dex whispered in dismay.

He had seen many things in his two life times but this was none of those.

"Hey system, what level is this flameborn lion?" he asked curiously.

The magical beast was incredibly strong, almost at the level of the last flameborn lion he killed as a high mage.

Greed grew in his heart like a blossoming flower, never before had he considered owning a flameborn lion. Let alone having one as a familiar but the magnificence of this one tempted him.

Every mage could have only one familiar and he already had the flower demon, how sad.

"System, can you tame it for me?"

Host at level four you can have a second familiar, level six a third, level eight a fourth. As a high mage or when you get a small space world, you will be able to have as many familiars as you want. Control your greed and hunt.

"The hunt is over, they are all dead." he answered.

All that was left was for him to get his flower demon which was sucking up blood happily like the delicacy to exist.

"Let's go, gluttonous rose." he commanded.

Familiars always obeyed their mages, and the flower demon returned to his chest immediately.

Dex looked at the flameborn lion which was roaring loudly and expressing it's displeasure by setting everything within reachable distance on fire.

"See you soon, little kitten." he shouted proactively, waved and disappeared.

He was so close to the town now and magical beasts knew better than to invade the towns. If they did, they attacked in groups but never alone because that was a sure way to die.

Dex walked through the town unperturbed, ignoring the curious eyes of townsfolk who whispered as he passed by. He presumed that this was because he a mage at Ragor academy from the town, one of the only few to ever obtain an admission there.

If someone stared at him too long, he stared them down with an intense gaze.

It was not until he reached home that Dex realized why the eyes on him were more than the usual ones.

A funeral song was being played from his house, and a few neighbors were gathered. Slowly, with a sinking feeling in his stomach, Dex walked closer so that he could hear what they said, hoping that his parents had not died before their time.

Had his return changed the course of things?

"He was such a promising young man, how could he have died so soon?"

"The world of magic is truly dangerous."

"Why did he go into the Black forest in the first place?"

"I feel so sad for senior Atticus, he had only one son and that son has died at such a young age."

It took a few seconds to realize that the dead son they spoke of was himself.

"Shit, when did I die?" he asked loudly.

The closest neighbors were startled and looked up. One after another, they gasped when they saw him. His flaming red hair was unmistakable, he was the only young man in the turn who had it.

"D-D-Dex!" A woman stuttered as she said his name.

He ignored her and the rest of them and he moved forward with determined steps to find his parents.

More mourners gasped when he passed by, and a few, he noticed quickly packed up food like thieves before leaving.

"Nobody is dead, you should all leave." Dex yelled.

He amplified his voice with magic, and it resonated all around in the air.

Those who had not seen him finally noticed who he was and they had similar reactions to the ones that had first seen him.

"He is alive."

"How is he alive?"

They murmured and whispered, but they also made a quick exit. Who else could use an authoritative voice to communicate with everyone at once? His voice had been heard all around, even the neighbors two doors down heard him.

"Brother." Dex heard a weepy sweet voice, it was the voice of his sister Demi.

He held his hands out wide expecting her to launch herself at him, it was what she always did. It was just as he expected when a small body landed in his arms.
