Emergency

"Hello, say Owen."

"Sister, I urgently need 30000 USD."

"30000 USD?! Now you need it?"

"I need it within one hour sister."

"How can I prepare within one hour?"

"Sister, please don't say you can't. My sister's life is in your hands." Owen is breaking down.

"You... Do you have any, sister?" 

"Yes, sister. I will tell you later. Please support me by lending cash." 

He is weeping, so I don't know how to console him. 

"Okay, I will check and call you back within 15 minutes."

"Okay sister. But, call back soon sister."

"Okay, don't be scared."

The Call ended.

"What happened? Darling."

"I mentioned Owen. Do you remember?"

"Hmm, his sister is admitted to the hospital. He needs 30000 USD within one hour. He is saying his sister's life is in my hands. I have only 10000 USD. He is breaking down so much, what will I do now?"

"You don't feel it. I will prepare cheque. It will be easier than providing cash, but the hospital won't accept cheque. You don't feel like it, I will come now." Ash spoke with someone in mobile and came near me.

"Darling, currency is ready. Now, how will he come and receive it?"

"Really?"

"Hmm, yes."

"Ah, hang. I will call him and ask."

Within one ring, Owen attended the call.

"Sister, what happened?"

"Cash is ready. Where are you now?"

"XYZ hospital."

"Okay, stay there. We will be there within 30 minutes."

"Thanks sister. Thank you so much."

"Okay, you don't weep. I will be there shortly."

Call ended. 

"Honey, he is in the hospital." 

"Okay, come first, we can pick up the cash from my company and then reach the hospital." 

We took Charlie alone with us. First, we came to Ash's company. His assistant stood at the entrance with cash. Ash got it. I received an incoming call. It's from Alan this time.

"Hey, Jia. Come quickly to the station." 

"Why? What took place?" 

"You come quickly. There is a young woman with James in the mall, right? That young woman is weeping so much." 

"Acho, I will be there soon." I ended the call. 

"Honey." 

"Say, darling." 

"Can you drop me at the station? I will see Owen afterwards." 

"But, I don't know who Owen is." 

"I sent a picture of him to your mobile. See to it." 

"Okay." 

Ash dropped me and Charlie in the station and he headed toward the hospital. Alan was standing by for me at the entrance. 

"What's serious now?" 

"Move inside the custody room and discover it yourself." 

Charlie went inside and stayed near Alan's desk. While I entered the custody room, I could only hear a sobbing noise. That young woman seated on the edge and breaking down. Leo's parents watch her wistfully. James, without recognizing tears running out of his eyes, is lying down on the floor. 

"Hello! What went on? Why are you crying now?" I asked. No response from the young woman, but Leo's mom yelled. 

"It's all because of you. Because of you only, my daughter-in-law is like this." 

I and Alan were stunned by hearing it. 

"Daughter-in-law?!" Alan repeated. 

"Yes, she is my son Leo's wife." 

"Mother-in-law, please stop it." 

"You know nothing. You be silent. Let your Mother-in-law talk." Leo's dad told. 

"By telling like this only. Now, I'm in this stage." The young woman screamed. 

"Hey! Why are you shouting now? They are supporting you only. That girl destroyed your life." James added. 

"She didn't wipe out my life. You don't talk like you know everything."

I and Alan can't figure out anything from their conversation. Charlie is non-stop barking at James. "Be QUIET, Charlie." I yelled. All be mum. I said to unlock the gate and let the young woman out for investigation. 

"What is your name?" 

"Cyra." 

"What problem? Why are you crying?" that young woman blends her head and clenches her palms tight. I guess she needs privacy. "Constable, take her to the 3rd investigation room." 

"Jia." Alan called. 

"And take James to the 6th investigation room. I will come and investigate him." 

Now, Cyra and I are alone in the investigation room. 

"As they are saying, are you Leo's wife?" 

"Yes, after marriage I also communicate with you one time on call." 

"What is the relationship between you and James?" 

"There is nothing between me and James. Please leave me. I need to leave. My husband and son are alone in the residence."

"Why are you crying now? You say there is no relationship. Then why did you go to the mall with James?" 

"Emergency, that's all. I don't know anything. Please leave me, I need to go." 

"Hmm... See here, Cyra. James shooted Lucas, who planned to close my chapter." 

"Leo's parents only instructed you to target you. They found a guy following the car. They were afraid that if you catch Lucas and you will know everything? So, they killed Lucas." 

"You claimed you didn't know anything but you revealed a lot." 

"Please, Jia. For Leo's safety, let me move to residence. It's extremely urgent now. I will come back quickly after seeing Leo. If you don't count on me, then you also join me." I can spot the truth in her eyes. I informed the constable and took Cyra to Leo's residence. After we reached Cyra ran inside the residence in a hurry by calling out "Silas... Leo...." I also went behind her. 

Cyra enters a bedroom. Inside a newborn baby boy who is five months old and lying inside the baby cradle and weeping. Cyra carried the baby and hugged. After a few minutes, she consoles the baby and leaves him inside the cradle. Again, by shouting Leo's name. Cyra is searching all over the residence for Leo.

I continued upstairs. There was a mini hall, I entered inside and looked at Leo's wedding photos decorated all over the mini hall. Still, Cyra is looking for Leo. Suddenly from the opposite room, I heard glass breaking noise. I opened the door to check it out. 

Actually, it's like a storage room. I was stunned after glancing around the room. It's all my pictures hanging on the wall. It's so dusty inside the room so I can't see well. I spotted the shadow of a man in the dust. I held my pistol and passed near him. That guy had a lengthy beard and was wearing ripped clothing. I, myself, am scared to go near him. 

"Hello..." I called him. 

But Cyra came inside the storage room and told me to "be quiet, move outside." 

"Who is that? Cyra." 

"First, you move outside." After I moved out, Cyra came out with that person. 

"Leo!..." What the hell? I can't believe it. It's Leo who I loved. 

"Hmm, it's Leo. Jia, if you don't mind, can you take Silas to the Hall and stay until I show up?" 

"Come, I myself take you to Jiju. Okay?!" Cyra held Leo and reached inside another bedroom. 

Jiju?!! It's my nickname given by Leo. I can't accept what is going on? I carried Silas to the hall. After half an hour, Cyra came to the hall. 

"Sorry for showing up late. Wait, I will bring some milk for Silas." 

"Hmm." 

Cyra brought milk in a feeding bottle and fed Silas by setting him on her lap. 

"Leo...?" 

"I gave him a shot. It's a sleeping injection, so he is sleeping." 

"How did this happen?" 

"Memory loss. He is like Silas now. But, he knows only one person who's Jiju." 

"What are you saying? Cyra. He is a healthy and fit person. How this happened to him."
