I rushed inside the residence. I moved to the kitchen to cook but why should I waste it by cooking only for myself? So I didn't cook.
Ash called me after he reached Australia. After that, he forgot about me. It's all just words he said. It's okay, I assume he must be engaged with work.
First, Aunty and Uncle were moved, but Ash was with me. Now Ash also moved. Now, I feel like I'm the loneliest person in the entire world.
There is no improvement in the case from inspector Levi. Still, it's so suspicious about Lucas's death.
One early morning, I picked up a call from an unfamiliar number. As soon as I attended it. I rush off to a place within one hour.
"Come Mrs. Ash," Inspector Levi called. Yeah guys it's Levi who got a move in this car case.
"Did you get any leads?"
"Yeah, we got the guy who drives the car."
"Where is that guy now?"
Inspector Levi took me to the lock-up.
"This young guy," Levi pointed to a boy who seemed so innocuous.
"Say who hired you to do it?" Levi presented a vigorous slap.
"No... No Levi. Don't beat him."
"Then what to do? He is not at all opening his mouth."
"Immediately, move him to my station. I will deal with him." I grimaced at the young guy. He isn't capable of dealing with my eyes but how could he accomplish this circumstance by someone's order?
"Okay, come we can wrap up the procedures to shift him."
I completed the procedures and communicated with Levi. At that moment, Alan called me.
"Hey where are you now? What went on?" Alan screamed.
"Remain man, relax! I'm with Inspector Levi in his station."
"Why didn't you call me?"
"Ah! No time left behind, man. I traveled over the Station as soon as I picked up Levi's call. That's why I messaged you. Okay! I will bring the guy to our station. Be ready."
"I'm waiting. Arrive quickly!" Alan hung up on the call.
"Okay! Levi, thank you so much for the lead."
"It's my role, Mrs. Ash."
"Okay, be in contact with me. If you require any help, feel free to ask me."
"Sure, Mrs. Ash."
While riding to my station, I got an incoming call. It's from Ash. But I didn't attend it because I'm in the most important position now. After 30 minutes had passed, the convict arrived at my station.
"Haan, the guy turned," Alan said.
"Wow, that station is so active. See how quickly they transfer the Culprit. Our station needs to learn a lot," I said.
"I don't think it's secure to lock him in a regular lock-up."
"Yeah, take him to our special lock-up to give some special therapy."
"You mean locking him with Charlie!"
"Yeah, tonight be ready. I know how to handle this boy."
I moved to a residence where I was refreshed and watching Television. Ash called me again. This time I picked up the call. As soon as I responded to the call. Ash started yelling at me that why didn't you pick the call? Where did you go all the time when I called you? I didn't utter a word, just remained mum. Ash became mum for a few minutes and said Sorry in his softening tone.
"For what, sorry?"
"For I confessed I will call you every day but here my work is so compact and also for yelling now."
"Hmm."
"What are you working out?"
"Just watching Television."
"Did you have dinner?"
"Why are you speaking like you are avoiding me?"
"Then what should I supposed to do? I don't know whether you are well? What are you doing? Had a meal or not? Can you recognize how much I'm suffering here?"
"What did you mention?"
"Ahh... Nothing. How are you?" Aish, why did I blabber? I'm so dumbest.
"But I heard something like suffering..."
"I figured out you have an ear problem. Better check it."
"Haha, okay, darling."
"What! DARLING!!!"
"Now, why are you in shock?"
"Ahh just quit it. Now, say what you need to say?"
"Hmm."
"Why are you suddenly sad?" I can recognize the sadness in his tone.
"Missing you Honey. Every morning while waking up, I used to see you next to me. Now you're not with me, it's so terrible for me."
I too missing him so much. He is always around me and disturbing me but now...
"It's All Because of You," Ash said.
"Me! What I made?"
"I called you to join me but you denied it..."
"When will you return?"
"Haan, next week."
While we both chattered, I received a second call from Alan.
"Ahh sorry, honey. It's time for duty. We can talk in the morning. Bye."
"Okay BYE."
I can spot some harshness in his tone but I concluded the call because I know to calm him down. I attended Alan's incoming call.
"Hello, tell Alan."
"How long should I wait for you? Come soon."
"Why are you maintaining sharp timing? Just wait for a few minutes, I will be there."
I switched into my uniform and reached my Destiny in 15 minutes.
"Hey! JIA!!! Charlie forgot me," Alan sighed. "Where is he?" I'm curious to see Charlie. "Backside, beside the cage," Alan said. "You bought a cage for his size? Haha," I giggled. "Don't laugh! I'm already tense," Alan said. I stepped toward the backside.
Charlie, my child, is a German shepherd. He is just 6 years old but so smart. Just two days before, he wrapped up his training for the police dog and returned.
"Charlie," As soon as I called his name and knee down. He literally flew near me, placed his foot on my shoulder, started licking my face and climbing on me. I guess he missed me so much.
"Hey enough babe," I patted his head. Charlie pulls back and barks at Alan, who is inside the jeep.
"Alan, what are you doing there? Come here. He won't do anything."
"Can I count on you?"
"Come soon."
Alan just freed the door. Charlie ran towards Alan and jumped on him. Charlie enjoys playing with a character who is nervous of him but he never hurt no one by knowing.
"Alan, bring my child inside." I ordered and moved inside the station.
"Hey! Are you kid? Can't you hear?" Alan scolds Charlie.
Charlie scowled at Alan and started barking.
"Why is it so noisy there?"
"Nothing, madam. Charlie sir, come let's move inside." This time, Charlie moved inside with Alan.
