SLASH!

SLASH!

SLASH!

Fang Xuan began swinging his sword through the air, practicing and adjusting to his own body.

Inside his head, a mechanical voice continued to echo.

The voice was adjusting every part of his body, making sure everything was working right.

As Fang Xuan continued to move, the sword felt more natural in his hands. Each swing was smoother and more precise.

Tao Bai spotted a chance and gritted his teeth.

He swung his sword hard, aiming right at Fang Xuan's head. He was determined to end the fight with this one strike.

Just as the sword was about to hit, Fang Xuan's wrist twisted in an unnatural way.

Then, he swung his own sword to block the attack.

CLANG!

Their weapons clashed with a loud bang, sending sparks flying.

Tao Bai was knocked back, barely managing to keep his balance.

In automatic mode, Fang Xuan charged forward, attacking with more aggressively. His dark sword swung through the air again and again, each strike forcing Tao Bai to step back.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

The cultivator struggled to keep up. The attacks were so fast and strong that he couldn't find a moment to fight back.

Each hit pushed him further away, making it harder for him to stay on his feet.

If he hadn't been wounded, things might have been different. But, for some reason, he was having a hard time using his Qi.

His injuries made it difficult for him to focus and control his energy.

To make matters worse, Tao Bai could see that Fang Xuan was getting better with each strikes. His attacks were becoming more precise and powerful.

Meanwhile, Cui Fang, still recovering from his wounds, watched the battle unfold with growing concern. His healing efforts were slow but steady.

The Qi inside him offered some hope, even if it was faint.

"Help me!" Tao Bai shouted, his voice filled with desperation. He was barely able to keep up.

"Just hold on for two minutes," Cui Fang screamed back "I'll finish off that monster as soon as I can."

With no better choice, Tao Bai quickly adjusted his strategy. He tightened his grip on his sword and shifted his stance, focusing entirely on defense.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

With each passing second, his defensive position became more stable. He used the rhythm of Fang Xuan's strikes to anticipate the next blow, aiming to deflect it as best as he could.

Tao Bai noticed something unexpected. Fang Xuan's attacks seemed to lose their edge.

Without Tao Bai's counterattacks to force him to adapt, Fang Xuan's movements began to stop improving and his attacks became less powerful.

'Maybe the effect of whatever evil technique he's using is running out?' Tao Bai thought to himself.

Evil cultivators were notorious for using techniques that sacrificed their own bodies for a burst of temporary power.

Cui Fang, watching the fight unfold, had the same suspicion.

'An opportunity !' he gritted his teeth and stood up, the wounds still fresh but now allowing him to partially channel his Qi.

He pointed his sword forward, his body low and wide, with his feet bent deeply for stability.

His right hand gripped the hilt tightly, while his other hand supported the middle of the blade to keep it steady.

Taking a deep breath, he focused his Qi. White aura began to hum around his blade, glowing with intense power.

"Take this, Iron Needle!"

He dashed, and quickly thrust his sword straight at Fang Xuan's back.
