CHAPTER FIVE: The first touch.

THE FIRST TOUCH

We were for our third term holidays. Usually l enjoyed my holidays .l didn't know how this holiday was really going to be with out my parents all l knew was that they weren't going to be great . Indeed they turned out to be my worst holidays .l was left with Nicole, Rapheal and uncle Richard.Though my worst holidays they showed me what how Uncle Richard really was.Ever since aunt Elvy went up country,Uncle Richard began taking drugs, drinking and sometimes, he come home drunk.He soon began to get weird all of a sudden every single day that past especially with me.

One day as we were having our supper at the dinning table, Raphael sat next to Nicole while l sat opposite Raphael we wouldn't wait for Uncle Richard coz he was well known for being late at the dinning table.After some 30 minutes,Uncle Richard joined us at the table.He sat next to me.At first l didn't know what his intentions for sitting next to me.As we were eating l realized that Uncle Richard staring at me .When l stared back ,he pretended as if he didn't know what was going on.l thought that he might have wanted to say something but he forgot it so l didn't pay much attention but after sometime, l felt a hand on my thighs it was Uncle Richards .l got frightened that l couldn't even shout coz Nicole and Raphael were at the table. Due to my helplessness , he took advantage .His hands moved above my thighs slowly until it reached its destination.l felt as if I were unclean .My heart pumped so loud that l could it pump through my ears .l was caught up in fright .l just didn't know what to do.Luckly enough,my enemy helped for the first time.

' Dad'

Uncle Richard quickly removed his hands from my thighs. l too hurriedly carried away my plate away from the dinning table.Every one looked at me as l stood up .l didn't have the courage of looking at some any at that moment.

' Alessia,why have you decided to walk out with completing your meal inthat manner'

' Ahhh , Rapheal,am not feeling well and lneed to get some rest .

' But.... '

Before Rapheal could complete his sentence Uncle Richard interrupted and said

' Raphael let Alessia go and have some rest.Sge said she isn't fine so why disturb her' said uncle Richard

' Ok dad'
