Chapter 3

3Now that he had a human body Momonga couldn't help but both be grateful and curse himself this is because Each time the Two women walked next to him his heart would pound so fiercely that he swore it would jump out his chest but at the same time he liked their presence and wished to monopolize it.

just recently within the 3 days, they had gone to capture some monster nearby but Momonga could not focus clearly on the way back as he was too focused on not embarrassing himself or doing anything that would cause them to think less of him.

Speaking of capturing monsters, Momonga had deemed it necessary to capture the local wildlife and check for intelligence and see if there's any information that could be gleamed from intelligent monsters

They were successful in getting some information nothing too substantial  after all goblins and ogres have very limited knowledge. He did however learn that he was currently in the great forest of Tob and quite near the Re-estize kingdom, he also learned about the magic system of this world which is tier magic one that is very familiar to the one used in Yggdrasil, he wanted to find out why that was the case but the answers would reveal themselves over time.

He was also reminded to practice his magic and check all his skills, and items and see if they were still effective and everything worked fine the only problem was the staff of Ainz Ool Gown had lost its power and now it was simply a golden stick that floated, another thing that warrants Investigation but was put on the back burner for now.

"Lord Ainz please reconsider"

The raven-haired Succubus pleaded to her master, the worried expression on her face made Ainz wince just a bit, he did not wish to see that type of expression on her.

another thing to note he had instructed them to call him Ainz Ool Gown as a sort of signal to anyone who might be a player from Yggdrasil, his Guild had quite the reputation afterall.

"Albedo,  it's not as If you aren't coming with Me please be reasonable"

Ainz's voice was deep and commanding with a majestic tone to it. Albedo was standing in front of him while Shalltear stood by his side, The vampire carried her dark and red parasol shielding herself from the sun, of course as a true ancestor the sun was nothing but she still disliked it.

"But Milord is this not the safest place for you, leaving now with our limited information is dangerous, we don't know the full scope of this world."

"Albedo are you trying to impose your will on the Supreme one? If lord Ainz wishes it then let it done"

The vampire offered her thoughts which earned her a vicious glare from the Succubus and of course,e she smiled upon receiving it, anything to get under Albedo's skin.

"Albedo,  that's is precisely why we are leaving, to find a place with people and blend in while also gathering information, plus this fortressiss filled with undead, I'd rather we not be attacked and be caught of the guard"

Her face softened as she heard his reasoning,  Ainz Almost raised his hand and caressed her face but he managed to keep his desires in check, The beautiful creature both in front and on his side was enticing.

He then proceeded to undo the spell that conjured the fortress, turning their backs on it they headed for the nearest village which was just a little ways from where they were.

"oh and Shalltear, lord Ainz doesn't need a yes-man by his side"

Once Albedo noticed that her master was completely enamored by the nature, so she remarked to Shalltear earning a look of shock and silent grumbling from the vampire.

The remark from  Albedo got her riled up, Shalltear without a way to rebuttal Albedo's statement she looked ahead and watched as her master satiated his love for nature, the way he looked around him as if a lost child in a forest of wonders made her heart thump, she found it to be cute and she enjoyed watching her beloved master enjoy himself, she never thought the Supreme being could have such a cute side to them, she liked it.

She glanced at Albedo and found the gentlest of smiles plastered on her face, basically telling Shalltear that they both had the same thoughts about their lord.

Ainz had yet to have enough of the nature of this world, the vibrant trees the shining sun the clean fresh air, and his earlier regrets about having a flesh body were completely forgotten and he was overjoyed to be able to experience this, the world was healthy,  no pollution or anything of the sort such a beautiful thing needed to be preserved and he would damn near go to any length to make sure it is.

He cursed the inhabitants of his old world how could they let the earth get to that point, how could they rob future generations of the amazing sights of nature, the sight of pure and unpolluted earth?

-Curse them.

He shouted in his head as he made his struts and continued enjoying the feel of nature. He had long since forgotten to act all regal-like, completely not caring or rather forgetting Albedo and Shalltear.

Enri Emmot, a model village girl who is very diligent in her day-to-day routine, does everything her parents tell her with little protest and takes care of her somewhat bratty little sister that just won't listen sometimes. She lives a peaceful life without any extenuating problems, sure some of your typical nobles and Lords come to collect tax and end up taking half their grain but that's about it when it comes to problems.

Enri is a blonde hair girl with brown eyes, she wears an orange blouse and brown dress along with an apron and some shoes, she doesn't wear anything besides the current clothes she was wearing today, she hardly has any reason to wear anything else and she's quite content with her clothing, not like she has the time to got to E-rentel and buy new ones.

Her day today was shaping up to be a very normal and mundane day for her, woke up in the morning along with her father who has to get plow in the fields to get some water from the well, and her mother stays home to prepare breakfast, she then washes herself and Nemu before leaving to collect some herbs in the forest nearby, once she's back she has some laundry to do before lunch and having some free time with her sister to play.

That was what happened today however, unfortunately, today was not going to be a good day in fact it was going to be the worst day in her life.

Enri had been outside the village on the grassy plains playing with Nemu, she was coming back home when she saw it, Blood splattered on the floor as she watched her mother get sliced by a sword across her chest, The sight was a shocking one just as she was about to rush to her mother's Aid her father burst out the house and tackled the armored man that attacks her mother, she was so shocked that she hadn't noticed that there were multitudes of armed men who brandished their swords and killed any villager they saw.

"RUN ENRI RUN, TAKE NEMU, AND RUN AWAY!"

Her father screamed at her as he tried to hold - the man that looked like a knight- from hurting his children. Enri without Needing to be told twice, scooped Nemu off her feet and put all her strength into her legs, and sprinted towards the forest.

The knight cut down her father before he gave chase, unfortunately for Enri a village girl who can never outrun a trained knight, the knights caught up to her and slashed at her back. Fortunately for Enri her will to survive caused her brain to dull the pain and the adrenaline released from her brain gave her enough Energy to outpace the knights chasing her of course if the knights were trying they could have ended it easily, Her sudden burst of speed was unexpected so they gave chase for real.

She managed to get out of the village and into the forest but that's all her adrenaline could afford her before she dropped to her knees and the stinging pain returned, a groan came from her mouth but she never let go of her sister.

"Damn bitch, giving us trouble"

The knights jogged as they caught up to her, it was time to finish this and go home, and besides these villagers were heathens anyways, the knights felt no remorse in killing them.

"heresy must be expunged"

He raised his iron blade, up high before he dropped it to end the life of the miserable wretch in front of him, however before his sword made contact with his victim it stopped midway.

"Huh"

Confused by the inexplicable halt of his arm, he pushed it down once more but it didn't move, he tried lifting it but it didn't budge either.

"I'm not one to turn down a massacre but I think that's enough"

A High pitched voice of a woman rang in his ear, like sirens singing him a melodic tune, the voice was pleasing to hear. His eyes finally registered what was going on, a pale-skinned beautiful lady about a head shorter than him, held his sword in place, her petite form led him to believe she was much weaker than him in terms of strength but the fact that he could not pull his sword out her grasp was proof that belief was wrong.

"Then again the massacre is only fun if I'm the one doing it"

She spoke again, the innocence in her voice was Betrayed by the words she spoke, before he could utter a single word his arm was lopped off causing blood to spray all over the place staining the trees with its red Color.

"Shalltear please don't play with your victim, Lord Ainz is in a hurry"

Shalltear pouted, she had wished to express her sadistic tendencies but what the stupid gorilla said was true, making her beloved lord Ainz wait was a crime. She  Conceded and immediately ensured that the man's head filed for divorce and separated itself from the rest of the body. She was quick to do the same to the other knight that seemed dumbfounded and shocked

Ainz was quite taken aback by how easy the two talked while one of them killed a man but that was it, he didn't feel any remorse for what was happening he was simply shocked momentarily before he retained his composure.

"It is fine Albedo, but Shalltear refrain from jumping head first into such situations,  I do not wish to see you get hurt"

Despite being the one to tell her to save the girl, Ainz felt guilty sending Shalltear head first without a plan, he did not wish you see such a beautiful lady get hurt due to his carelessness. He found himself unable to stomach the idea of seeing Shalltear bloodied and bruised.

"Yes lord Ainz"

Though she spoke Those words in a respectful tone, her vampire heart thumped when she heard him say he did want her to get hurt, Her lord Ainz was the gentlest of beings, his Benevolence is worthy of great praise.

"so my lord what do we do with these"

Albedo cast a scornful look at the two young girls, a clear look of hostility that caused a chill to run down Enri's bloodied back. Ainz took out a vial bottle of his healing potion before crouching down to the two girls.

"Hello, my name is Ainz Ool Gown, here drink this it should help with the pain"

Handing the Potion to the girl, Enri took it and hesitantly gulped it down and its effects were immediate, she could feel her wound closing at a rapid pace even though her earlier fatigue was recovered and she regain her strength.

"Thank you, Sir"

She voiced her gratitude towards her savior, though she was on the floor she was able to bow her head to him.

"Think nothing of it, what's your name?

"Enri, Enri Emmot"

Ainz stood up from his crouching posture, after receiving the gratitude.

"Tell Me Enri Do you know what magic is?"

"Yes, I have a friend who frequents our village he uses magic"

"Good then this should be pretty simple, [create undead: death knight] "

A black ooze came from Ainz's hand before it dropped down and covered the body of the already dead knight that was chasing Enri, the man's body contorted and rose to its feet before it transformed into a terrifying and daunting skeleton knight equipment with a sword and shield.

"Death knight, go kill anyone in the village wearing armor"

The undead knight followed his order and went to carry it out, Ainz then directed his attention to the two girls that were near him.

-since she said magic is real then she ought to be familiar with the undead, right?

Enri who was now safe, her brain started working properly she began to look around and was able to finally notice how good looking the three people that saved her, she noticed the man was a handsome gentleman with white ashen hair that reached down to his shoulder, he had piercing electric blue eyes,  that she felt could gaze straight into her soul. a chiseled jawline and gentle facial features, he was rather tall much taller than your average human he stood at least 8 feet, and he wore luxurious purple robes that were lined with golden sleeves, the robes looked expensive enough that if she were to ruin them it would take her an eternity to pay them off.

"It's alright now, you're safe"

Ainz's Assured her and stretched out his hand to help her Stand up, with Nemu still in her arms Enri obliged and took his hand.

"Thank you for helping us, mister"

The little one I her arms offered her gratitude and Ainz received it well and proceeded to place his hand atop her head giving her a head pat.

"It  was nothing after all saving a person in trouble is always the right to do"

words from one of his friends felt quite appropriate at this moment, Ainz hope to live by his example or at least try to be a good person.
