Prologue Part I

“I’m not coming to the shop today.”

The voice that was as expressionless as the face could be heard inside the “Butterfarm” supermarket, a famous supermarket where fresh ingredients and imported goods were sold for a cheap price. Furthermore, there was a special time for housewives called the “Golden Time” too. In other words, it was when the shop held a special promotion for various goods, cutting down prices at a terrifying discount. This was the time when housewives wore their armor and set out to grab discounted products on this battlefield.

Obviously, not only housewives came to war at this place, but one of the customers included an unemployed man whose financial situation was showing red letters as well.

Said man was Jakkarin, or “Joke”, who was in a brown long-sleeved shirt and his favorite worn jeans. His black hair seemed to be as disheveled as usual, the same way that his rust-colored eyes were hidden behind the thick black-rimmed glasses.
