Chapter 26 The Lost And Found Part 1

CHAPTER 26 The Lost And Found Part 1

April 11, 2018. Monday (New Present)

My most awaited day has come. This is the day I will see him again. Time really flew past.

The first person I can call my friend… I didn't consider him a friend before because I didn't know what a friend really was, but now, after 6 years, I finally realized what friends are.

The first person who found and saved me. I know he has no memories and no longer knows me, but I promise to repay him.

"This time… I am the one who's gonna save you, Harry. It's a promise."

But who is Harry, and what has he done to me?

April 11, 2018, of my old life. The day I dreaded more than any other. The start of a new school year meant the beginning of another year of torment and humiliation at the hands of my classmates.

I knew what was coming. The whispers, the snickers, the looks of disgust and hatred. I had endured it all before and dreaded retaking it for another year. The thought of it made my stomach churn with anxiety.

But something was different this time. Our school had a block section system, meaning I would be stuck with the same classmates in the same section until I graduated. The thought of spending the next few years with the same people who made my life a living hell was almost unbearable.

As I trudged through the school gates on that first day, I couldn't help but feel sickened by the sight of my classmates' faces. I knew that I was in for another miserable year.

But then, something unexpected happened. Our teacher announced that we would get a new student, a transferee, to join our class.

"Alright everyone, we will have a new student joining us. You can come in now," the teacher announced, and I held my breath, waiting to see who would walk through the door.

Our new classmate entered our classroom and introduced himself. Our new classmate entered our classroom with a warm smile on his face. He epitomized a good-looking man with his sharp jawline, piercing blue eyes, and wavy blonde hair.

"Good morning, everyone! My name is Harrison Van Hatten, but you can call me Harry. My family and I moved here a month ago because of my family's business. I'm still new to this town, so I need to find out where the good places are. You could show me where your hangout places are.

"My hobbies are playing basketball, piano, painting, writing, and watching theater plays. Hopefully, we get along together! That's all. Thanks for having me here!"

Harry is a good-looking man and has an athletic body. Our teacher said he was one of the best MVPs in his previous school. His paintings have won awards several times, and he was also one of the best in writing. Moreover, he could compose his own song on the piano at a young age.

His family is known for being good at business, and they also had a company here in our city, so they moved here.

Everyone admired him because of his talents and his family. All my classmates are jealous of him and seem to think he is perfect, Including me. I envy him the most.

He even surpassed in the ranking the most intelligent classmate of ours, the son of one of the best lawyers in our country. He was perfect, indeed.

But it's not all about it.

He was also really kind to everyone. Including me again. He was friendly and always liked to help others who were in need.

"Oh, you're the mayor's son, right?"  How did he know that I'm the Mayor's son? Did someone tell him that? Unbeknownst to me, he had already seen me in our house. I remember that once there was a visitor in our home, and I heard that a businessman would establish a new business here in our city. So his family knows my father.

When he asked me, I knew it was all over. He will be added to the people who will avoid and hate me. But he was really different.

I answered him. "Yes, I am the son of the worthless and garbage Mayor of our city. Nice to meet you."

He just laughed at me. "Hahaha, nice to meet you too." Then he offered his hand for a handshake, which caught me off guard. "I used to be disgusted, hated, and avoided, but why did he offer his hands? Is this some kind of prank?" I thought to myself.

I was only looking at his hand and then glanced at his face. It remained calm and gently smiling towards me.

"What is wrong with this guy? Well, whatever, at this point, I don't care anymore." I finally accepted his handshake, but when we shook hands, something weird just happened. After he took my hands, I felt small electricity run from my hands to my arms, but it was harmless and barely noticeable. Then I only see him staring at me and lost in thoughts, like his mind was nowhere.

"..."

"..."

"Uhh… Harrison?" I asked, and then he finally came back.  "Oh- I'm sorry for that, Justin. Hahaha, anyway, it's nice to meet you. Hope we get along." He said, and he continued greeting our classmates. I noticed that it was not just me that occurred; he lost me in thought things.

"What a weird guy I said."

Then that's how I met him… again.
