"Whoa," Ethan said as he looked around the room in Rayleigh's house.

After Rayleigh escaped from the house and ran into Deborah the two drove off to the police station where Rayleigh reported what happened

"Rayleigh did say there was a big fight." Patty who just walked into the building said,

"Is that blood?" Ethan said walking towards the broken glasses which had a bloodstains on them

"I'll call forensics in here" Patty said taking out her phone

"Rayleigh said the attacker was left-handed and 'slightly taller' than she was," Patty said walking towards the table where Ethan was seated

"So you think the attacker was the patrician killer?"

"Yes."

"Deborah is our only suspect right now," Patty said

"Right, Jamie is in custody and Rayleigh was attacked" Ethan said gently "what of the blood we found at the crime scene?" He asked

"We should be getting the results any minute now" she replied. As if on cue, the forensic scientist appeared with the results, "the blood matches only one of the samples" he said handing the papers to Patty

"Who?" Ethan asked

"Deborah, Deborah Sinclair."

Patty turned to Ethan "looks like you were right since the beginning, Deborah's the killer."

Ethan rubs his hand on his face, wearing a sad look "I wish i wasn't," he sighed.

"Are you okay?" Patty asked and Ethan replies with a nod before rising to his feet "come on, we have a killer to arrest."

The two of them drive silently to Golden Hill, not saying a single word to each other. When they got to the Sinclair mansion, Ethan raised his hand to click it but Patty catches his hand in the air

"Are you sure you're okay?" Patty asked

Ethan forces a smile "absolutely, why wouldn't i be?" he replies

"Come on Ethan, it's obvious that you feel something for Deborah,"

"I just h--" Ethan let's out a deep breath "let's talk about this after we've arrested the serial killer."

Patty nods before letting go of his hand. Ethan clicks on the doorbell and the two wait for minutes but no one shows up. They click on it again, and again and again, "Do you think she knew we were coming and ran away?"

"I-- she said she was going to the cemetery or something, it's been a year since her uncle passed." Ethan said and the two walk back to the car and drive off to the cemetery.

They arrived a while later and after searching everywhere for Deborah they found her seating on a bench just outside the cemetery with a really old newspaper in her hand.

"On this day, a year ago, my uncle and his wife were headed to a party when they were attacked and stabbed by a psychopath," she says, "Isn't it kind of poetic that their murderer is arrested on the anniversary of their passing?" She says finally looking up at the detectives, her eyes filled with rage, the same rage Ethan saw at the party they first met.

Ethan takes out a handcuff "Stand up, turn around and put your behind your back," he says

A small smile appears on Deborah's face. "You misunderstand detective, i am not the one getting arrested today... you are."
