The Zephyrion Kingdom

Zephyrion Kingdom was formed in the year 1870 and during this year the King was a commoner who gathered all his people to rebel against the Lunaris Empire since they sold the Territory to the Sylvestra Empire or else Sylvestra will Invade the Lunaris Empire in its weakest state and annex all of their lands.... The fight for succession in Lunaris was getting out of hand as vassals found their way to support their Ideal Prince to succeed in the throne...

At That Time Royal Minister Troy Mori then Negotiated with the Sylvestra empire offering the Tolpas Territory as the price for stopping the plan of Sylvestra to Invade the Lunaris Empire.

Sylvestras Emperor Raulyon Sylvestras II accepted the ceding of Tolpas measuring 3,897 sq mi, but with another condition that Lunaris will add another 50 million Sen/ Gold Coins.

RM Troy Mori forced to accept this terms gave 50 million Sen and the Title of Ownership of Tolpas to Sylvestras to stop the Invasion however many vassal lords are against this decision but they have no choice and chose to stay silent... however there was 3 Governors that went against it..

The Governor of Tolpas, Agapos Tolpas born as a commoner but reached the status of a Baron after he served in the military and was given the duty to govern the Tolpas territory and at that time he adopted Tolpas as his surname, Knowing that his territory is being sold out, he confronted the Royal Family but was then announced as a rebel of the Empire...

The Governor of Losyan, Renato Losyan same as Agapos they were best friends in the same cirlce, has the status of a Baron and was the Governor of the territory north of Tolpas, supported Agapos on his protest and the same way announced as a rebel of the Empire...

The Governor of Asoka, Serena Asoka the only woman to be Governor in the Lunaris Empire and the successor of Count Aibo, Asoka was born in the nobility and was higher in status compared to Renato and Agapos but were in support of them and went against her family and the Royal Family, her territory was located south of Tolpas and was greatly against the decision of the Royal Minister.

This 3 Governors after being labelled as Rebels of the Empire made their decision to form an Independent state separate from Lunaris, RM Troy Mori enraged as they refused the order, asked the Royal family and Nobles to march their armies against them. 

faced with the combined forces of the Royal family and the Nobility the 3 Governors raised an army and asked their people to also help defend their home refusing to become the slaves of the Sylvestras Empire. 

Raulyon Sylvestras hearing this news smiled as if finding this amusing and proceeds to watch in the sidelines.

***In the border of Tolpas***

Lord Agapos!! shouted by the soldier catching the attention of the other commanders and Lord Agapos as they were behind the walls.

Sir!! The Combined forces of the Empire is here!! 

Rang the bell hurry!! alert everyone to be in defensive position!! commanded by Agapos as the confrontation between their forces finally came.

As the bell rang continously all soldiers in the border quickly went to their positions waiting for the enemies to get nearer..

***25 km from the border walls** 

Let's set up camp here and wait for the night. commanded the General of the combined forces Romulo Mori, as they set their gazes towards the border walls of Tolpas.

seeing that the enemy set their camp 25km away from the border, Agapos devised a plan that would shock the enemy as they underestimated them..

When night came the enemy began making a move, placing their Heavy Infantry upront with their archers behind and with the Light Infantry divided into 3 Units the archers behind the Heavy Infantry and the skirmishers the advanced troop engaging the enemies first before the Main army and the scouts gathering intel of the movements of the enemy. 

with this arrangement the enemy began their attack at night engaging the defenders as they continously barraged them with their burning arrows while being shielded by their heavy infantry, unknown to them a separate group besides the defenders were lying in ambush leading to their advance party being wiped out just before they reach the walls.

***The final battle***

3 days just after the defeat of the advance party of the Enemy, Lord Agapos and the other 2 governors intensified their fortifications.

As the enemy approached the walls with their siege engines and troops the defenders did their best as they laid traps in the fields in advance making it harder for the enemy to approach with every night they engage there would be hundreds of casualties on the enemies side and the defenders only in the single digits...

General Tori seeing the increasing war exhaustion on his soldiers decided to end it all in one day as he dispatched all the troops using the Assaulting Column with the Troops at the front backed by the Seige engines and the archers as they attack the walls continously while approaching.

The defenders being surpressed did their best to hold on as reinforcements from the side of Losyan and Asoka was coming.

Grahhh!!! kill them!! We will die a warriors death!!! 

were the shouts of the soldiers as they fought for their survival with every advancement of the enemy a rain of fire arrows would come to them and a barrage of stones would hit the walls and arrows also raining for the defenders...

dawn came and the enemy troops were retreating as their numbers drastically decreased from 9,000 to 560 soldiers left and their leaders dead on the battlefield the remaining scattered troops either run away or surrendered. 

The defenders then announced their victory however they also mourned the deaths of their comrades from the original numbers of 5000 down to 3,202.

The news of their defeat greatly damaged their honour and also the higher ups were greatly condemned by the families of the soldiers making the battle for succession of the princes becoming more intense as competition to gather more trusted allies for them became more harder and the blame for the defeat of their combined forces were put in the name of RM Mori, RM Mori accepted the blame and was executed by Beheading.

After this defeat the Royal Family then again Dispatched another Large Army but this expedition were again defeated by the Governors and this led to the removal of the 3rd prince from the succession race as he took responsibility for it. 

With their victories the 3 Governors declared their Independence announcing to the world that they are now free from the Lunaris Empire and the deal with Lunaris and Sylvestras completely nullified. 

Forming the Zephyrion Kingdom, with the 1st King being Agapos.

But he was short lived and only ruled Zephyrion for 5 years.

with the 2nd ruler being Renato and during his time he made the 3 lines of succession thus dividing the succession of the Throne by blood but also closing the ties between the 3 families making it more closer than ever.

With the descendants of Agapos as the 1st priority in line of succession and the 2nd in line the descendants of Renato and 3rd in line was the descendants of Asoka.

10 years later Renato passed down the throne to Serena.

and by this time Serena increased it's military might and defined their borders more clearly with the whole territory having a measurement of 12,213 Sq Mi.

and occasionally war with Lunaris.

 Lunaris after being succeeded by the 7th prince began it's aggressive diplomacy waging war everywhere.
