It was a month from Aegis meeting with Ozpin, Ironwood, and Qrow.

A meeting that the three men came from with more questions than answers.

Still, Ozpin seemed to be content with the idea of Raven being silent about her powers, and Aegis didn't know what Ironwood thought, but he was sure that if he knew Raven is Maiden, the meeting would go very differently.

In that, Aegis was sure.

But Aegis was able to make deals with both Ironwood and Ozpin. SDC would provide them with training bots and free service that typically make the Academy's budged cry in tears.

Both get a discount on Dust in which Aegis wouldn't lose much as his automated minings started mine more Dust than Aegis could sell in hundred years.

And lastly, a drink worthy of gods, the best coffee that was on Remnant would be every month dispatched to both Academies.

Of course, there was more conversation, but to Aegis, the concerns of both Ironwood and Ozpin were meaningless, and to gain some breathing room, Aegis just nodded at their opinions.

That was meeting, and then there was a fallout of showing to the public the Schnee incest.

The public was torn; on the one hand, there were some who supported the idea that love cant be chosen, then there were ones who thought that Aegis forced the girls against their will to build a harem.

And then there were the typical social speakers that claimed the entire Incest idea as the act of degenerates.

Aegis just said to them on the live feed that once they stop buying the SDC merchandise, he would take them seriously, which didn't happen as no matter what these people said, they still needed SDC.

So life continued, Aegis newer stoped at working on his bussines empire and using his free time to by with his family.

At least until one day Aegis gets a message from one of his wories.

Four days ago, one of Schnee secret facilities that researched a way to prolong life with gene therapies and bio technology stopped responding to the security grid.

Aegis was worried but stayed his hand as something as such happened in the past multiple times just to find that there was a minor problem in communication.

When Aegis get the message, he thought it was repaired, and he didn't know a thing what he would see would make him seethe in a fury.

On video recorded feed from a security camera was disheveled and clearly beaten scientist of the facility if his lab coat could speak for itlself.

"I-i ho-hope someone can hear me!"

The scientist said.

"M-my name is John Nickel, I-im scientist in facility specialized for gene research!"

He said but trembled as there was heard sound of something hitting the metal doors as John looked at them with worry.

"N-no matter, there isn't much time! Listen, anybody, and there was an incident.!

John said, and again there was a sound of something that clearly tried to get through doors.

"Three days ago our communications with Schnee network fallen, we thought it was just accident, but it was the head scientist! He became completely crazy and started spouting nonsense about how he is a god among mortals!"

Again hit, but this time the doors sounded like if they were starting to give up of resisting.

"It started with missing subjects that should be cremated but were lost! The security tried to investigate it, but everyone who gone to look for bodies was lost! We tried to call for help or leave the facility, but nothing worked. We were completely cut off!"

John said as his hand ran along his face.

"The V.I tried to help us but was destroyed by something like the core of V.I was ripped apart! The Bastion droid bought us time to barricade, but it was for nothing these things ripped them apart as even Grimms couldn't!"

The doors seemed to open little upon the force.

John just looked at that with a pale face and trembling body.

"Im the last one who stayed sane! Others, others joined them, they changed! The virus! Yes, the virus is responsibility!"

John said, and there could be seen a different hand reaching through the gap of destroyed doors.

"Jooohhhhnnnn, why are you hiding? Don't you see the gift you could have?"

A voice said from another side.

"Stay away!!!! It isn't you, Robert! don't you see what that virus has done to you!"

John said in false hopes of making his friend and the Head scientist of the facility see reason even if his more rational part of the brain said how impossible that was.

"Virus? Oh yes, the virus, I can see! But can you see John? Look how strong we are! Just look, John! The virus is a gift to worthy John, come join us embrace the next evolution of humanity."

Robert said with a smile as from the back of his head, and multiple tentacles could be seen to move.

"Gift?! Robert, you wanted to help people not, not make them in-into this!"

John said as traces of fear were changed into one oh anger on the pale imitation of his dead friend that now is just puppet.

"You disappoint me, John, but don't worry, you will join us even if you don't like it."

Robert said as the doors were finally completely open and deformed human and faunus stepped into the room showing their battered bodies from fight and blood, some of them had bite marks on their bodies, and some didn't even have a head as on its place were just tentacles with teeth.

"Stay away!"

John said in terror, but his hand seemed to look for something.

"John, don't make it so hard, don't you see? We want you to join us!"

Robert said with his teeth that were no longer of that human or even faunus.

"Please work."

John said slowly in a whisper as he touched the console that after a while showed hundred percent of data transported.

"What have you done, John!"

Robert snarled as he saw a complete transport of data.

"What was must, John said as he pulled out the gun and wanted to end his misery just for the gun to be pulled out his hand be one of tentacle monster.

"You will pay John, and you shouldn't do it.!

Robert hissed as he gave the nod to others who looked thrilled.

"SKHSAAAA."

Multiple previous humans and faunus throw themselves at John eating him alive as they bitted in his flash.

"AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH."

John screamed in pain as his body was eaten alive.

"You will pay for denying the gift."

Robert said as he bitted into John's necks ending his miserable pain.

Aegis looked at the recording for some time as his body trembled in a fury.

Aegis didn't think that they would invent Zombie-virus in place of the regenerative serum he wished for.

No, these idiots created Zombie-virus or something very similar to it.

But that doesn't matter; Aegis now knew what happened and could act on it.

"Iris, call Sienna. There is work to do."

Aegis said with a deathly tone as pale-faced Iris nodded her head.

Raven, who, like Iris, saw the recording too, was shocked.

Raven liked power but what she saw made her feel disgusting.
