Chapter 13: Mysterious Girl

Gold then woke up at 12 p.m and stretched, adding 4 hours to his orginal 3 hours of sleep.

Gold: "What time is it? Oh? Its 12 pm already, well time to get up and get ready to start training again."

Gold then got up and walked to the bathroom and got ready for the day. After he was done he walked to the kitchen to look for his mother, snow, and Jane.

When he got out there he only saw his mother and snow's mother, Emily.

Gold: "Mom where are Senior Jane and Snow?"

Athena: "Jane took Snow somewhere in the forest to give her some 'extra' training today."

Gold: "Oh ok, then I guess I'll be doing solo training today. Bye Mom! Bye Auntie Emily!"

Athena and Emily: "Bye Gold!"

Gold then walked out of his kitchen and headed towards his private courtyard.

Gold: So last night I managed to finish Sun

Slash but it uses to much ki for my body to be able to carry out the move. Today I guess I should break though to the 2nd level of the Body Enhancement Stage."

Gold then made it to his courtyard and sat down and tried to calm his breathing. Gold breathed in and out slowly making his heart rate slower.

He then started to feel his ki out and started circulating it around his body. After an hour of ki rotation he finally completed one cycle.

Gold then continued to sit down and started to let his muscles absorb his ki.

Gold: "Ahhh! This feels just as good as before."

Gold then felt how much ki he had in his muscles and decided he needed about 4 more cycles to breakthrough.

Gold then started to calm his breathing and started moving his ki around again.

Another hour later Gold started feeling the same comfortable feeling he felt earlier when his muscles were absorbing his ki.

A few minutes later Athena walked in and watched Gold bathe in the comfortable feeling of his muscles getting stronger. Gold then look up and saw his mother looking at him.

Gold: "Hi mom, what do you need?"

Athena: "Snow is not here and were out of groceries so you need to go out and buy some."

Gold: "Ughhhhh, fine."

Athena then handed Gold a list of groceries and supplies she needed as well as well as 100 silver coins.

Athena: "Keep whatever you don't spend."

Gold then got up and headed to the store. After he left the house he looked at the list of groceries and supplies.

Green onions

Fine Yellow Silk

Fine iron

Leather

Fire wood

Gold: "Why would she need fine iron?"

Questioning why his mother about why she need fine iron Gold didn't realize he made it to the market until he bumped into someone.

Dude: "What the hell. Trying to start some problems twerp. I'll end you."

Gold then responded with a wry smile: "I'm sorry I didn't see you there man."

Dude: "What ever consider this your lucky day."

Gold watched the dud walk away and shook his head.

Gold: "My lucky day huh, if you had attacked you'd be in the hospital."

Gold then smiled and walked to some stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables and started asking the stall owner for some products.

Gold: "Can I get some apples, bananas, and...."

Gold paid 1 silver and finally got all the groceries he needed and decided to go get the supplies on the list.

As Gold was walking he heard a woman yell.

Girl: "THEIFFFFF!!!!!"

Gold turned and looked and saw a man running with the girl's bag and he started chasing him.

In a single moment Gold caught up to the theif and tackled him.

Gold: "Gotcha!"

Gold took the bag and kicked the theif away. Who got up and started running.

A few moments later the girl caught up to Gold and saw him eithe bag.

Lady: "Thank you sir, now may I please have my bag back."

Gold responded with a smile: "Of course."

After handing her the bag the girl looked through it and checked to see if all her stuff was still there. Then she took something out and handed it to Gold.

Girl: "Here mister take this for helping me out."

Gold take what was in her hand and found out it was a gold coin. Before Gold could thank her she started walking away.

Girl: "By the way my names Cynthia, you should remember it."

Gold: "Huh... ok I guess."

Cynthia:

Weight: ???

Age: ???

Height: 157 cm

Appearance: Cynthia is short and looks young. She has yellowish orange eyes that looked like her hair and seemed like they are peering into your soul. Her hair is like the color of her eyes and look a bit like the color of the sun.

Summary: Not much is known about her except that she has some mysterious rich background.

Gold: "Probably some rich girl."

Gold then left and head to gt the supplies. He reached the supply stalls and managed to get everything besides the fine iron.

Gold then started to head to the black Smith but something got his eye. There was a group of people standing and you could here people bidding prices. Gold then decided to walk over.

Gold: "Hm an auction of some sort?"

Gold saw what they were bidding for and looked closely. The item was 5 white pills that had some ki leaking out of them. Gold then recognized the pill immediately.

It was a ok rotation pill, the pill boost the speed of rotating your ki around your body and was perfect for those in the Body Enhancement Stage.

Gold: "I must get it."

Man 1: "10 silver."

Man 2: "11 silver."

Man 3: "11 silver and 5 bronze coins."

Gold then hoped in knowing the price was cheap.

Gold: "20 silver!"

Everyone looked at Gold and knew they wouldn't win since he seemed like a rich kid.

Gold won the 5 pills and quickly headed to the black smiths and bought a pound of iron.

Gold counted how much he spent and found out he still had 50 silver coins and the gold coin he received from Cynthia.

Gold: "Great profit today. I earned 150 silver today and 5 ki rotation pills."

30 minutes later Gold finally reached his house.

He walked in and set down the groceries and went to his mom.

Gold: "Mom why did you need the iron?"

Athena: " Well you see I need the iron for...."
