Chapter 21 [TO BE PUBLISH]
A sudden throb on the chest halted Leonna from moving. The wind became Icy cold as it continues to get stronger.
Even though it was cold Leonna's blood started boiling from the inside.
She glared at Violet menacingly, and when Violet saw Leonna's eyes she stumble and fell to the ground.
"M-monster!" She screamed as she run away from Leonna.
"Leonna!" Jaljiz called, but Leonna was far too deep in her emotions.
Then a sudden steam of smoke appeared on Leonna's body. Its not a smoke that you see in intense heat but a smoke coming from an intense coldness.
Leonna's body temperature is in havoc, An intense burning sensation consuming her from the inside but an intense coldness protecting her from the outside.
Everyone who's watching all runs in fear for their life. Some stayed to see what's going to happen but some choose to get away from danger.
"AHHH!!!"
"LADY LEONNA, STOP!" Prince Jaljiz shouted once more, but again Leonna didnt answer. He tried to go near Leonna but the Icy wind surrounding Leonna was far to powerful for him.
The winds strong force cuts deep to the young's Prince's skin, causing him to flinch in pain.
He extended his arms and chanted a spell, then a body of water came out of his hand, he tried fighting the wind with his water element but the icy cold wind was far to powerful for him to handle.
Then out of nowhere a small debris of crystal started to join the strong wind, causing it to be more dangerous.
"Crystal?! What....kind of power is this?" Prince Jaljiz said in frustration.
Leonna's heart beat was beating rapidly, she can feel every organs in her body working in speed.
"W-whats happening to me?" Leonna asked herself in a shaky voice while looking at her body.
Then she fell on her knees scared as she tremble in fear, not knowing what to do Leonna hugged herself tightly.
"LITTLE CUB!"
Leonna turned her head towards the only person who calls her 'little cub.'
"D-dad." Leonna called with ragid voice and trembling body, Leonna saw Leon running to her. Tears began to falls from her eyes and relief covered her entire being.
[D-dad's here, its going to be ok. He'll save me for sure.]
No one knew that out of all the people in this room, no one is more scared than her.
As the wind grew stronger and more debris of crystal begun to fall, its getting harder and harder for Leon to reach Leonna.
"Dad! What's happening to me?!" Leonna asked in a panic.
Leon's eyes widen when he saw Leonna, her body was steaming with smoke, her eyes was glowing red!
Not only that but on the side of her eyes are....scale?!
[Tsk. Wind, fire, now crystal?! What the hell is happenning!?] Leon thought in frautration.
"Im here dont worry, Im here." Leon said trying to calm Leonna.
He tried to get closer to Leonna but the strong wind with debris of crystal was making it harder for him to get close.
"Leonna!" He screamed, his feet was heavy to lift, the wind is pushing him away and the debri of crystal coming from the wind was cutting through his skin.
Even with his black mist the wind is too strong. But Leon is determine to reach his daughter who was all by herself.
He extended his arms to release an intense amount of mist to fight the Wind.
"Aaah!!!!" Leon screamed, with both hands on the air he fought the wind with his mist.
Leon smiled when he saw his mist sucessfully pushing the wind out, slowly defeating it.
Because of it he was able to walk closer to where Leonna is.
Leon saw Leonna crouched on the floor, hugging herself while crying.
The sight broke his heart, something he never thought he had.
"Little cub...." he called.
Leonna then lift up her head and saw her hero.
As soon as Leon was able to reach Leonna, he tried picking Leonna up, but immediately retracted his hands when he felt an icy burning sensation the moment he touched her skin.
She's colder than ice. The cold was intense that it actually burns your skin.
"Sh$%!!" Leon cursed shaking his hand in the air trying to ease the burning icy sensation.
"Dad!" Leonna yelled worriedly, Leon then just smiled at her.
"Dont worry little cub, its nothing, you're just a little cold." Leon said not wanting Leonna to worry.
"AHHHH!!!!!!!!" Out of nowhere Leonna screamed holding her chest, a scream so loud that it almost shook the entire room.
"Leonna!" Leon shouted in a worried tone. He tried to touch Leonna once again but the intense coldness was preventing him.
"Dad!! It burns!" Leonna screamed hugging herself.
[F#% it!] Leon thought, he grab Leonna an carried her in his arms. He immediately wince in pain.
Not wanting to worry Leonna, he tried his best not to show any emotion.
Leon, tried covering his hands with his fire but something's wrong.
[I can feel my black fire but its force is deteriorating?! Leonna's body is too cold for the black fire?]
So many questions with no answer, Leon was getting frustrated.
Leonna knew that her skin was cold as ice or even colder that it burns Leon's hand the first time.
She looked at Leon and immediately tears fell down her eyes. She can see in his eyes that he was enduring the pain.
"Dad. Put me down." Leonna said.
"No. Where almost out, hang in there." Leon said while walking towards the exit.
"No! I said put me down!"
"Leonna! Enough!"
He hissed in pain, Leon couldn't feel his hands anymore. His black fire is little to no help at all.
Then just like a well polish diamond Leonna's body suddenly glow in bright light, the aura surrounding her is going ballistic!
Not being able to control her own aura, the white aura surrounding her whole body exploded in many different direction!
The explosion was so big that it sent Leon flying to the other side of the room before crashing to the ground.
"Shit!" Leon screamed as he quickly stood up.
"Your grace!!" Winston who was covered in cuts and bruises shouted and ran towards the duke.
"Get everyone out of here. I think Leonna is awakening!" Leon said, Winton's eyes widen in disbelief at what the duke said.
"Thats impossible! She's only seven years old! She must be atleast thirteen to awaken." Winston yelled.
"Get everyone out of here! I'll take care of Leonna." Leon said while standing up after crashing to the ground.
"I'll call Sebastian right away!" Winston said, Leon just nodded in response.
Leon then run towards Leonna's direction once again.
"Leonna!!" Leon shouted, Leonna then turned her head towards Leon.
With tears on her eyes Leonna looked at Leon.
"Little cub, its me. Dont worry." Leon said smilling at Leonna.
Slowly Leon tried fighting the strong icy cold wind that was protecting Leonna once again.
His mist was covering him trying to make a way for him.
"Dad, it-it hurts" Leonna said holding her chest before falling on her knees.
"Little cub!!" Leon shouted in desperation.
Leonna's tears fell from her eyes as she look at Leon trying to come to her.
"Dad!!" Leonna said, she reach her hands toward her father but to her surprised a huge block of crystal came out of it!
"Whats this?!" Leon ask in shock...
"Crystal?!" Leon was in disbelief and shock at what he was seeing. The crystal was tall and large enough to separate Leon from Leonna.
Leon used his mist to try and get to Leonna but there's no opening from the crystal.
'Tsk. Ok, lets try and burn it." Leon said, he then tried burning the crystal but to his surprised its not burning!
[I need to get to Leonna.]
Using his mist again, he flew upward, with the mist carrying him, when he reach the peek of the Crystal block he saw Leonna at the other side crying covered in crystal.
"H-help me." Leonna mumble, scared and weak.
"Leonna!" Leon screamed as he hurriedly down to his daughter.
Her body is not steaming cold anymore but she still has scale on the side of her eyes. Leon was able to embrace Leonna.
Leon hug Leonna as tight as he could. He caressed her hair and whispered in her ears as he rock back and forth. " shhhh. Im hear little cub, dont worry. Your safe, dad wont let anything happen to you."
Leon didnt realize he was crying, he didnt know why but the feeling felt familiar.
