Dark Plan.

Now that he had reached the Second Level of the Acolyte Realm, he could feel his resistance to the Warp grow. His body felt more nimble, stronger, and most important his psyker powers felt more refined and in control.

But in doing so, he also drew more attention to himself. The Chaos Gods wanted him even more to become their newest Champion, but just like Abaddon, he would not allow himself to become their puppet.

Abaddon made pacts with the 4 Chaos Gods, but he did not become their slave. He still needed to think if he was going to do the same. Playing with Chaos was a risk, but he would need to do so if he was ever going to become a true Chaos Sorcerer.

But for the moment he thought of the art of Daemon Binding. If he could forcefully bind a Bloodthirster into his Auramite armor, he could have a powerful Daemon Armor to protect him from Magic.

As for his Spear, he could bind a Lord of Change into it and hopefully be able to better use the Power of the Emperor inside of it. And not to mention, now he had Leylin as his servant. He could have the former scientist create machines or weapons for him to bind Daemons.

'I will need my own faction. The strongest Magi on the South Coast were Rank 3 and they were rare. However, he knew very well just how strong a Primarch was.

'This will be mine to control. But Leylin is a risk. He is traitorous and has no loyalty. I will have to work on that.'

Trajaan spent the next hour planning and scheming until Leylin walked up to him. The scientist did not interrupt his meditation and waited patiently for Trajaan to acknowledge him.

"Leylin, what is it?"

"Sir it is time to eat."

Trajaan had not eaten anything since he arrived in this world and he did not want to.

"I have no need to eat."

Leylin did not try to go against him.

"I shall leave you alone."

He left with a bow as Trajaan was once again alone. Trajaan sighed as he was about to return to his training, but a voice snapped him out of it.

"You do act like a Magus for not being one?"

He oped his eyes and saw Dorotte, the lich Magus was curious about things.

"Dorotte, what a surprise. What can I do for you?"

Dorotte looked at his armor and the giant spear on his back. He was so curious about his gear and what it could be made of. Even more curious about what kind of being was Trajaan. Enough to desire to dissect him and learn from him.

"If you think I am curious then I am just as curious about you. I have seen you practicing what looks like a meditation technique. Even more, seeing the energy around you that makes me believe you are actually a Magus without knowing it."

"You would be correct. I do have a Meditation Technique custom-made for me and me alone. If you are curious about my race, my gear, or what I am, you will have to exchange for them."

Dorotte wanted to know, so he bit the bait.

"What do you want in exchange?"

"When we reach the academy, why not give me the same rights as a teacher? I won't teach anything, but I guess I can act as a guardian for your academy. That also means that I want the same resources and knowledge given to a Magus of my equal level."

Hearing that made Dorotte realize that Trajaan was much greedier than he thought.

"A Magus of equal level would be most likely Rank 2 or even 3. You want everything that our academy can offer. This is something I can't just give."

Trajaan spoke again.

"You would give up the support of someone that can equal the peak of what can be achieved? I find that the biggest folly as I could always, take it."

Dorotte felt the pressure rising from Trajaan who looked perfectly willing and able to do as he said. Dorotte realized that to Trajaan he was just one stronger Knight. He had heard the story of his Trajaan slaughtering 20 Knights in less than a second.

"I will speak to the headmaster of the Academy."

Trajaan nodded.

"You choose well."

Trajaan rose to his feet and grabbed the spear that was on his back. He walked away from Dorotte who felt he made a deal with the Devil. As for Trajaan, he had nothing to do until they took off so he stood still like a statue meditating.

* Clang Clang *

An alarm sounded, produced by the ringing of a copper plate, brought Trajaan up from his deep meditation. As he opened his eyes he began to walk toward the gathering.

As he looked around he noticed how the whole campground seemed to be bustling with activity. There were many who were taking down the tents, and the floors were littered with rubbish. As he was looking he noticed Leylin walk up to him towering figure.

"Sir did you sleep well."

"I did not sleep, as I have no need to sleep."

Leylin honestly felt such an ability and was envious. The amount of progress he could have made in his past if he had no need for sleep.

"Not fair."

Trajaan looked down at him through his helmet.

"Life is not fair."

"Gather around! Gather around! Everyone gather according to your academy, and the professors will take charge! Do not wander off!"

A white-bearded old man shouted in the center of the campgrounds. His voice, however, was extremely piercing to the ears, as he used some kind of magic to make it resound throughout the camp. Trajaan grabbed Leylin's collar and lifted him off the ground shocking him.

"HUH!"

"Come on. You will slow me down."

He walked towards the Abyssal Bone Forest Academy gathering area while carrying Leylin. Once they arrived he dropped him.

"Go and socialize or something. I will go with the Magus."

"Ok."

It was not hard to find the Magus as he just had to find Dorotte. Around him were many Magus of that Academy who had been informed of Trajaan's offer. Dorotte cleared his voice as he spoke to him.

"Sir Trajaan, me and my fellow professors have decided to accept your offer. When we arrive you shall be given a High-Level Meditation Technique of your element."

Trajaan had no need for such a thing.

"I have no need of it. Instead, I want its worth in Magic Crystals.:

Hearing that made them all shocked. One Magus felt that was dumb.

"Why?"

Trajaan had no need to explain.

"Why would I need to explain myself to a Magus with no hope of advancement past this rank?"

That seemed to have set off their insecurities as in the current state of the Magus World, rising to higher ranks was something very few could do on the South West Coast. They all glared at him with anger as they felt he was too arrogant.

One male Magus clenched his fist hard.

"You arrogant mutant."

As if a clawed hand grabbed him by the neck telekinetic force wrapped around his neck. As if he was Darth Vader, Trajaan lifted the Magus off the ground as he squeezed down his thumb and pointer finger together.

Normally every Magus had a forcefield of their psychic might, but he cracked through it with the force of his telekinesis. Dorotte spoke up to calm him.

"Please, release him. If you kill a Magus you will make enemies of everyone and remain trapped on the Islands."

Trajaan dropped him as he noticed the ships arrive.

"I will allow him to live as killing him would be inconvenient, nothing more."

Trajaan looked out into the horizon where 3 massive white ships were slowly floating towards them. As the ship approached, a massive shadow covered the whole camp, and it seemed as though darkness had descended upon the earth.

Trajaan could hear the voices of the young acolytes who wondered and gazed in awe. To him, he imagined somehow teaching Leylin to make him a Warship. A real warship and not these fusions of magic and primitive tech.

The other people in the camp had also discovered the abnormalities, and many raised their heads, exclaiming in awe and shock. Seeing him watching the ships Dorotte spoke to him.

"How is it? This is one of the Magus' modes of transport, a dirigible! We will be riding these soon!"

Trajaan's word made them pause.

"Slow."

As 3 dirigibles constantly got closer and slowly lowered themselves onto the ground outside the camp, under the various cheers of the masses. As he watched them closer he noticed something.

'They are like blimps.'

He wondered what Leylin was picturing as a scientist like him would. The pure white dirigibles landed on the ground and let out thunderous growling noises. The doors of the dirigibles then opened, and a few white-robed Magi walked out from them. There were also some movements within the camp, a few old men also walked out and exchanged words with them.

"Alright! Everyone bring all of your belongings and follow me. Don't wander off on your own!"

Dorotte led Trajaan and the rest of the Magus to gather the students. The acolytes of the Abyssal Bone Forest Academy all scrambled and ran back to their little wooden huts to fetch their belongings.

Leylin brought very few things with him. His belongings only consisted of a water sack, a leather bag, a cross blade hung from his waist, and a crossbow slung over his back. He ran up to Trajaan who had said he was his master.

"Sir, we are leaving. What have the Magus told you?"

"Simply that they have agreed to my offer. Yesterday I spoke to the lich and in exchange for being given the rights of a professor I will guard their school."

Leylin blinked.

"Will you?"

Instead of answering with words, he did so through telepathy.

'Not if it does not benefit me. As I will have that status I hope you use it well to recreate some real tech.'

Hearing that powerful presence in his mind Leylin shuddered.

'If you say so sir.'

"Let's move Leylin. They will leave without us."

"RIGHT!"

The acolytes fervently left the campgrounds under the guidance of the professors of their respective academies, and they gathered into individual groups based on their academy.

"Alright! Listen to me! Pay attention to the names mentioned next! Ennea Ivory Ring Tower, Wetland Gardens Academy... All of you will board the dirigible on the right, numbered '332'. Don't miss it! Professors, please take note of the number, and acolytes, follow your professors!"

"As for Mercifura Academy, Kerita Academy...Your dirigible is in the center, numbered '955'." The voice continued.

"... Abyssal Bone Forest Academy, Sage Gotham's Hut... Yours will be the one on the left, number '455', don't mix it up now!"

Once they heard Abyssal Bone Forest Academy, Trajaan glanced at the dirigible on the left.

"That one. Come."

As they approached it, Leylin realized that the airship was too enormous. The aerostat gasbag at the top seemed like a giant rugby ball, casting its shadow on the ground. To him, it was a wonder of magic and science, but to Trajaan it was primitive.

"Acolytes of the Abyssal Bone Forest Academy, follow me!"

Green flames flickered in Dorotte's eye sockets, and behind him were two figures, which seemed to be his servants or subordinates. Leylin did as the lich said while he noticed a few familiar faces from his traveling party. Trajaan also followed Dorotte but at his side. He was treated as an equal by the Magus for his power so he would be given habitation of their level.

"Trajaan, you can follow me."

"Right."

As they entered the ship Trajaan was curious about what he would find from this world's Magi. He was never a studious man, but the promise of power and a reward for it was enough to become one.

And once he arrived at the Academy he could begin his research into Daemon Binding. The faster he could begin to make Daemon Weapons and draw on the power of the beings in the Warp the better.

But first, he decided to become a Rank 1 Magus before he did anything and to increase his knowledge.
