As a mother, she was nearly frantic with worry, and the doctor kept asking one question after another.
With Summer's short temper, how could she endure it?
"You..." The doctor initially wanted to retort, but when he looked up and recognized who she was, his expression changed. "You... you're Summer Gardner?"
"Never mind who I am, just write up the form. I'm dying of anxiety here, and if you keep asking, I'm going to have a heart attack."
"I'm just trying to be responsible for the patient!" The doctor shook his head. "Alright then, I'll first write up a urine test form. Go ahead and get that tested."
"Umm..." Summer hastily moved closer, "Write up the ultrasound form and whatever other tests as well."
"I can only write those after confirming pregnancy," said the doctor with a helpless look. "If you're not pregnant, then the forms are wasted, and so is your money."
