Soon after the man left with the Grand Duchess, two people burst into the guest room.

After looking at Captain Jake's henchman, who had already died from a crushed throat, the two servants carefully searched the room. They then picked up the ropes and cloth strips on the bed and a woman's high-heeled shoe found on the floor, before heading back to Lucas Walker's room upstairs.

"Sir, we went to Captain Jake's room. His henchman is dead, and this is all that remains on the bed!" One of the servants passed over the scraps of cloth, the rope, and the high-heeled shoe.

"What is this?" Lucas Walker asked.

"It looks like it was used to tie someone up, but... we didn't find anything in the room," the servant replied.
