Chapter 54: I'm Not Playing with You Anymore

Ivana Bennett raised her hand, aimed the gun at his head. At the same moment, Lucas Walker's hand reached out to grasp hers, securing her right hand in his own. His thumb slid into the back of the trigger, preventing her from firing a bullet.

Ivana's finger was at the front of the trigger while Lucas's was at the back. The already small space was instantly cramped by his finger, losing all room to maneuver.

The trigger couldn't move at all, thus, it was impossible to shoot.

Ivana tried to hit his face with her left hand. Lucas didn't dodge, taking her punch on his chin as he conveniently grabbed her wrist.

He moved his sore chin, which was hit by her hand, and frowned before speaking.

"I told you, there's no escape!" he said.

"It's too early to be talking like that!" she retorted.

Ivana tried moving her legs, but this jerk was pressing down on her with both of his legs. She couldn't move at all.

"Drop the gun!" Lucas roared in fury.
