Love thy Ruin

I blink once and return my eyes to their normal size. Annoyance bubbles in my blood. "Listen, you douche." I scowl, "If you so much as touch me, I will scream so loud that you'll wake up in a jail cell." "Woah. Okay, Tiger. I'm scared." Aiden says mockingly as he lowers his head to level his face with mine. Locking his green eyes into my hazel ones, he says, "You're feisty." "I also bite. So, don't even think of hurting me." I warn him. "Who says I want to hurt you?" He backs up. "You didn't make a very docile first impression." I remind him. A notorious smile forms on his lips. "I didn't catch your name." He says. "That's because I never gave it to you, Aiden." I make sure to enunciate his name. "Color me intrigued." ****** Ava Lily Wilson's life was never simple. Her parents separated when she was 12. Her dad abandoned her. She spent years in therapy trying to get over his betrayal and just when she thought life had to finally get better, she learns of her the lies she's been fed for years. Distraught and heartbroken, Ava moves 3000 miles away from home in hopes of starting a new life. One where she controls her life. Enter Aiden Mathews. With his perfect good looks and devil-may-care attitude, he's a trouble magnet. The air around him reeks of chaos but instead of staying away from him, Ava finds herself drawn to this mess of a boy. He's destructive. She's lost. Together they're just two wrong people drawn to each other like a moth to the flame. One of them is bound to get ruined.
