Page 67- _The special dish_

Rintarõ..... _Uhh Kiyo, what's in the box?_

Kiyohime.... _Heh wouldn't you like to know, it's a special surprise for my new friend Rinny._

Haruno simply got even more curious. She begged the young lady to tell and show her. After a few "no" teases, Kiyo removed the golden edged cover. She only caught a short glimpse of a shiny metal lingering from the open part of a white wrapping paper. In an instant her heart pounded to a fault and mind parried every present thought to one. "Is that what i think it is?!," her voice screamed with excitement knocking on her door. The princess pulled out the paper revealing what seemed to be a necklace.

Rintarõ.... _That's the super limited edition locket custom made with a special picture of THE Yukio Suzuki. How'd you get such a rare thing!?_

Kiyohime.... _Ehh i didn't know all that, i just thought it's a friend locket. Someone gave it to me at the restaurant._

Rintarõ.... _Ohh it's a friend locket alright. One of my favorite handsome actors Yukio wore it in the movie "Indulgent Trust" when his best friend gave him a custom made locket before he died. That being what you're holding right now, it's actually popular among many girls._

Kiyohime.... _Eh i didn't know, but that just makes it all the more easier if you like it._

Rintarõ.... _Like it?! I love it!! Thanks a lot Kiyo, i thought it was a goner from my collection of limited sales_

Kiyohime.... _You're welcome!..... By the way what's this tempting delight i smell from the kitchen._

Rintarõ..... _I don't know but Ayami said it's a sp..._

Ayami.... _Please do not ruin the surprise miss Rin, i promise you won't regret it!_

Lady Inata appeared shouting from the hallway entrance. Beside her was sad looking Hiro, oddly quiet Keisuke and wistful splashed Kisami. A trio of sad sacks probably dragged by scary Ayami. They walked over to the girls, finished their greetings with most of them being dragged on words of afternoon and marched into the kitchen. Everyone sat down in a languorous manner and a minute going to take the dish, all three boys were down right resting. Heads were on the table dipped in silence as they looked to the other side. "Hey Rin, what's wrong with them?, did they get a scolding from Lady Inata or something?," the princess whispered in her ear. But little known she was hitting a wall by asking another lost lamb. "I'm not entirely sure," she replied back in a disappearing tone. Though not as much sure Haruno had a hunch, so she thought of tactically asking.

Rintarõ..... _Umm Ayami, won't the twins be joining us?_

"I'm afraid not, Takami said he wanted to speak with Kagami about something!," the maiden lady yelled back barely audible from the clanging of utensils and the likes. "If he's talking to Mii then it's definitely about the imperial past. Which means he's already told and apologized to Keisuke plus the other boys." Her mind thought processed the estimation gunning very near to the present event. But a single mystery was unsolved.

"Judging from the sad expressions they're all making, i'd say something else happened. But what is it?.". She tried to complete her analysis perfectly but a thudding noise thundered through the table. It left everyone galvanized to a quick jolt only to be left in frozen serenity. All eyes glared at the large aluminum pot placed on the wooden table topped with a brown board. Holding the rubber black handle was Ayami, working up a smile as she clasped five plates and spoons to the left. She placed them down in an orderly fashion and opened the pot. Steam charged right up leaving everyone guessing what was inside. Lady Inata hummed to herself while taking the large wooden spoon and dipping it inside. Her right hand pulled up a spoonful of somewhat alien food, well it appeared so before Rin's eyes.

Upon first sight the siblings cranked open their mouths in shock, seemingly ready to jump out the window and escape. The smell was indeed breathtaking, but looking directly at the delicacy made you full in an instant. Much less sad, the boys were scared and no different from Kiyohime who came up with an excuse.
