Chapter 7

Page 62- _The silent "mystery" lover_

Hours passed in serene silence around the Ohshiba compound. Haruno turned twice and almost rolled off the bed till she woke up to the annoying sound of cicadas. A quick glance at her phone and she was surprised to find it reading 1:23pm. Lips stretched as she bettered a huge grin and conjured up her thrilled spirit. Sliding down with speed so much to actually hitting the dresser, her feet reached the flip-flops well set for a dash spree in an emergency. She changed into a pair of casual clothes and padded out the room. Her head was busy soaring through the roof to notice lady Inata who was also coming upstairs. With a bump on to a thudding, the two fell downstairs. Luckily the furry crimson carpet made it all the less hurtful leaving a maid and a teenage girl bursting in laughter.

A while passed gazing upon the lengthy garnet roof. Ayami Inata stood up and gave out her hand after mentioning," a guest should not carry herself up when it's all because of our staircase."

Rintarõ.... _Thank you! I'm so sorry, i wasn't looking where i was going._

Ayami.... _Oh don't be, my head was very much thriving elsewhere as well._

Rintarõ.... _Thanks for the hand. Anyway i was just about to look for you._

Ayami.... _What a coincidence, so was i. It's pertaining upon the library thing we had this afternoon._

Rintarõ.... _Ohh.... W-wait don't tell me you're gonna cancel or something along those lines._

Ayami.... _No not at all. I simply came to get you. Are you okay with that?_

Rintarõ.... _Yeah let's go!_

"Finally what i've been waiting for!," muttering to herself, she followed behind Lady Inata who went upstairs and turned to her right. At the end passage beside the dressing room lay the supposedly library door. Ayami opened and gestured for Rin to enter while giving off a polite short bow.

"I see she's still strict about her dignified and some of which i think are self made etiquette values," chanting thoughts in her mind, she moved in and was welcomed by rakes of books. They were clustered on the coral pink tiles slightly changed with pale yellow pencil stripes instead of auburn dots. Stacked in perfect coordination of same genres per rake, they held a respectable eye grabber vibe. With five shelves upfront and another five in the back, a bookworm would find themselves burrowing through the room for days or even months. She slid onto the rom-com section reading through different intriguing names.

Still standing in the third row from the left, her eyes popped out gasping at a familiar name. Although far from being much of a reader, Rintaro had one book she followed and liked the most. _Resonance of distant stars_ it read, titled under volume 2 romance. She squealed with great joy almost disturbing Ayami who sat on one of the mahogany chairs placed next to the mystery shelve. "I've been looking for the second volume but every bookstore i went to said it's sold out. I even visited the Goshoten library hall but i still couldn't find it, how'd you get it!?," her voice rolled up the volume. She was excited yes, but her mind knew little about what would become of the world to Ayami Inata when absorbed into books that kept her guessing. Lost in silence she decided to start reading through until echoes of her question finally reached the maiden lady's ears.

Ayami.... _Oops sorry please forgive my rudeness, i'm afraid i tend to get a bit too concentrated when reading mystery novels. You were saying...?_

Rintarõ.... _I'm the one who's supposed to apologize, i kinda disturbed you during your reading. I was just asking how you got the second volume of this book._

She raised the white covered hundred paged thing clasping red italicized letters.

Ayami.... _Ohh that. Keep it a secret between us but lady Koemi happens to be a book maniac. She bought a ton of that series and keeps it stashed away in her room._

Rintarõ.... _Umm..., who's Koemi?_

Ayami..... _Ahh right, you wouldn't know. She's the first child of emperor Ayanami._

Rintarõ.... _Ehh really!, While we're on this subject, would you mind telling me more about the Imperial Family?_

To be continued......
