Chapter Seven- *IMPERIAL MELODIES*

Page 61- _Reverie of Emotions_

Keisuke appeared by the door open to surprise. His eyes stuck to Haruno's face stunned by curious silence. Slowly walking towards the piano, gestures were his way of questioning the confusing scene.

Keisuke.... _Er...uhh.....umm Rin!?. What happened to Kisami?_

She blinked twice floundered in ignorance while looking for the right words.

Rintarõ.... _I-i'm not sure either. He was just playing the piano, and the next thing i knew, tears were pouring out. "Sorry you had to see me like this," he said and just left..._

Keisuke.... _Ohhh... so that's the reason. For a second there i was actually shocked 'cause it's been years since i've seen him like that._

Rintarõ.... _Er... i'm not one of the Ohshibas so you might wanna stop talking to yourself and kindly share your thoughts._

Keisuke.... _Oh sorry kinda spaced out. But Rin, i'm gonna have to ask you again._

Senami's voice hesitated more than he let off possessed by rising fear. If Rintaro got closer she could've heard the loud piercing thumps of his heart. With confidence dug from an unknown pit, he changed the tone to bore her curious mind.

Keisuke.... _Are you really interested in knowing about the imperial family.? 'Cause it's super long, boring plus confusing. And nothing would change even if i told you._

Pumping himself up with "i said it" compliments, things took a turn for the worst. He had left Rinny more keen on listening. Even she who was never interested in mysteries found herself overwhelmed by a tingling feeling. The thought of a long, boring and confusing story escaped her mind as she was left smacked by a wide grin.

Rintarõ.... _Oh please tell me Kei...! I promise i won't tell anyone. (well maybe, probably...hehe)_

The prince no longer existed in the present, only the shadow of a disheveled man stood in surprise. "Where does she get all that enthusiasm?," he muttered thinking of a crafty plan to discourage her.

You'd think Keisuke was afraid of his past, or he felt emotionally sad about it, but truth begotten he wasn't interested in it. Narrating a boring long story in the dead heat of summer, hah!, no one sane would want to. But contrary to the healthy prince, leisure ridden Haruno badly needed to know. Anything related or could make her get closer to Senami, itched with a need to know. Heat slowly grew following the rising sun as the two stared at each other.

Keisuke.... _Arghh! ok i give up, but i'm not telling you anything. Well it's more like i can't tell you anything._

Rintarõ.... _And why's that?_

Keisuke.... _I only came here when i was...._

Rintarõ.... _Ohh yeah that, Ayami told me a little about you and the former empress' story_

Keisuke.... _Huh, did she now!? Then that works well in your favor. She DID promise to tell you about the Ohshiba family so you might wanna go and ask her. After all, she does know a lot about this family than any of the children do._

Rintarõ.... _Oh..., in that case i might have to ask her later. Right now she's too busy._

She looked down disappointed after expecting Kei to do the talking. Circling around emptiness, her mind found itself going back to meaningless memories. Bits and pieces of her kiss and the sudden dash of Kisami cranked up disbelief and confusion. Set to stone cold determination she thought of asking the latter.

Rintarõ.... _Hey Kei you said something about knowing why your brother was crying rig...._

Head up her eyes met air with the sound of light footsteps fading away from the hallway. "What the!, Argh! did he just run away!?". Curses flung onto her pretty lips headed back to the guest room. She went upstairs a bit heated and closed the door behind. First thing she came across was the metal pin plugged into the carpet. "Urgh you're the one who made me do that to Keisuke and now he's forgotten!", she hissed plucking it off with immense strength.

Agitated at the same time disappointed, those two emotions made her face frown to sweating. Calming herself down with a few deep breaths she slammed herself onto a houndstooth oxford blue sheet spread on the comfy mattress. "Argh!, why am i getting so angry?. Maybe i should take a short nap while waiting for Ayami."

A couple of counting sheep minutes later, Rintaro was back to the dreamworld she had left half just an hour back.
