Chapter Three - *IMPERIALITY*

Page 21- _Melody of confusion_

A muscular tall boy stood firm in front of Rintaro. Soft and curly ice-white hair flowed stylishly to the right flaunting in a perfectly shaped head. His shiny eyebrows finessed the glimmering red eyes brimming with a glow in the dimly-lit passage. The thought of being in front of an angel like Adonis drove through her mind working up sparks of a thrill. When she looked up, a familiar sensation dawned on her. "This face, i've seen it somewhere, somehow," she thought to herself. Her eyes swooped down, back up, and as soon as she moved to look at his face for the second time, chills went down her spine. The glance in the boy's eyes had changed. The once elegant face was now covered by a grimacing expression. His sudden swift step back left Rin in fear. Was there something behind her?, she began to wonder. When she nicked her head over the back, she found nothing. With tons of confusion rummaging through her mind, she thought of asking what was going on. Face turned her eyes wiggled in shock as thin air remained in the hallowed passage. "Am i seeing things?, i definitely didn't hear him run or anything!. I think i should get checked again soon", she said with a voice painted of confusion. Dissipating her worries and the strange moment, she thought of looking for Ayami in hopes of thanking her for the hospitality. She pounded downstairs into the living room ready for Keisuke's tour, only to find silence surrounded by the quality couches. As she waited thought-while to where they could be, her fingers played with a strand of her hair. Next to the dining was the kitchen marking an end to the rooms near the front door. Rintaro had to go in the hallway full of passages looking to find some princely looking suites.

She turned on her second left and into a long dark passage. Nightlight grew in from the windows of some quiet opened rooms. Stealthily tiptoeing along the passages and many doors tired her to almost giving up. The sweetly tender and smooth sounding voice plus a faint piano sound, coerced her to stumble on a door holding a "Music Room and Do Not Disturb" black and gold sign upfront. The calming melody pouring out from the small portion of the opened door made her enter uninvited. Inside was a hollow room full of space and a single piano in the middle filtered under a dimly-lit chandelier. All she could see was the back of someone playing the gentle piece. Walking as calm and furtive as she could, her legs made sure not to disturb him. She stopped right before his back, her ears upright tense like a cat, and curiously listened to the piece. Her warm-felt emotions melted into a glimmering world of happiness.

Thriving jolly in ecstasy was her heart thumping in a twice per second beat. She imagined herself as if being pierced by a blade of pure delight only to enter Heaven. While in the midst of enjoyment, the stranger's voice came to a halt, and so did the piano-piece. Her whole mirage of happiness had been stumbled upon by silence, but instead of being sad, she felt like the happiest lark at the moment.

In the short time she still savored her sweet moments, a tiny mistake occurred. "You're really talented and super good!. You're no doubt a gifted pianist!," she blurted out her complimentary thoughts, in-turn to find the stranger jumping off his chair and turning around. "Didn't you see the do not disturb sign out there, are you blind!?," he was furious at first glance. But when he gave a closer look at Rintaro, the anguish expression splurged all over him turned into fear. Haruno found the twinkle in his eyes and white hair to be exactly like that of the guy who had vanished from before. "You're the pervert from the hot spring!," he exclaimed in disgust as he dashed out in a jest. Rin had been left with the question, "was he refering to me?".

This being the second encounter, she couldn't help but feel a slight sense akin to nostalgia. As much as she wanted to look for answers, her search for Keisuke and Ayami had to continue. She came out of the music room and into the long dark passage.

Reaching down the end of the corridor, she heard a familiar voice shouting,"that's my room!". After following it's echoes, she found an opened door with Ayami, Keisuke and Takahiro. "Finally!, i found you!," a long sigh calmed her down. Both boys were shouting at each other as maid Inata stood in a corner with blunt eyes. The princes didn't seem to notice Rin at all. She went to Ayami's corner to ask the dispute cause and found herself getting a strong glare under a deep breath.

Ayami.... _After leaving the bathroom, i came to prepare the princes' rooms only to remember a very important detail_
