Chapter 2

Page 14- _Fate's turn_

"Will you go out with me?". A speed born of shock made her heart pound on the edge of unbearableness. As all eyes starred deep into her, she felt goosebumps all over.

"Should I say yes to Takahiro or maybe Keisuke, but turning down one of them when there are people would be an insulting humiliation. What if i try to just turn them both down, would that work?, no they won't be satisfied." Anxiety was a clear pace at which the boys strode waiting for an answer. She clutched and clamped her hand, and then calmed herself down. "I can't give you a good enough answer at this time around, but i trust you can imagine how my head is right now, so please could you give me more time?"

Kei & Hiro..... _Phew!, we thought you'd say that so yes, is a week ok? No need to hurry, you can take your time._

The restlessness in their strong sigh was crystal clear.

'Whoa!, i thought i was gonna blow up', murmured Rin to herself. Her eyes strayed towards the window and noticed the dark sky that covered the place. The lit lights though, drew into a vista. Everyone had forgotten about Dr Akane, but she still was present, even in that whole confession. She started chortling cooped up in her chair. Rintaro's face flustered and went completely red in embarrassment. The same mind she had, crossed over to the boys, "_if Dr Akane was here the whole time, what is she thinking?"_ They too, had become deeply soiled in red faces.

Moments later on, her checkup was done. According to the nurse, she had to take some medicine and rest for at least a week. Dr Akane noticed that Haruno wasn't following up on the _resting_ part, so she emphasized a little bit more.

Dr Akane... _You mustn't do chores. Make sure you eat a lot and i strongly advise not staying too long under direct sun._

Yet Rin couldn't help but explain the situation at home. With her brother gone, she was alone in the house. Cleaning and working part-time for her class trip's souvenirs was a must on her summer vacation's to do list. The nurse clearly saw she wasn't getting through to her so she improvised.

Dr Akane.... _I'm afraid if you don't rest you won't heal up, and another blackout won't do you any good. Your top priority right now is maintaining your health._

She found herself in a tight spot. Running out of options, she asked Aigasaki if she could come to her house and before she even opened her mouth, cunning foxes grasped a chance to chain Haruno. They looked at each other, grinned and said, "You can come to our house instead, it won't be an imposition. We'll help you with all your needs, and there are assistants who can come and clean the house for you". "But i had asked Merumi," gestured Rin towards her friend. She was obviously annoyed by how much they wanted her. But Merumi was enjoying it.

Aigasaki.... _Actually i was going to say i have something to do so i can't come._

Merumi winked at her and she knew she was stuck in a rut. Aware of her situation, she had no choice but to go with them. About to get down the bed, an interesting question came up.

Rintarõ.... _Hey Kei and Hiro, since you have the same father, why do you have different last names?_

Another question yet to turn tension and air around.

They bit their lips, looking so troubled but told her anyway. "Our father's last name is Ohshiba and his name is Ayanami". All three, Rin, Aigasaki and Dr Akane's mouths widened as they inhaled a lot of air, and exhaled it all out with a big "Whaaaaat!!". "But i thought his last name was somehow both Akamaru and Senami since he owned both companies right?" claimed Rin lost in confusion. But she was not alone, Aigasaki and the nurse too were curious.

Inline with their explanation, Akamaru fashion and design company, oil producing industry and the famous Senami Group, were all hand-downs to his wives. But why would the surname Ohshiba be so shocking?, well that's because both Keisuke and Takahiro were sons of the Emperor of Japan himself. It wasn't so shocking now that they knew who was the owner, infact, most companies were of the Ohshiba family. 'How could i have not noticed the so glowing aura from the two heirs of the imperial family,' they all murmured simultaneously looking at the two boys.

Standing in front of royalty was much a belief as it was a disbelief. They knew it was true, when they saw the Ohshiba redhaired necklaces both boys happened to have under their clothes. It was a royal necklace made of the finest jewel stone and rarest of bird feathers. Only those of the imperial family had them. Even so no one quite frankly knew about the Imperial family. Only that there was Emperor Ayanami and his wife the Empress or so people thought. Rin and Aigasaki always knew they were rich but this magnitude was just unbelievable. Everyone moved in silence as Haruno got discharged and they left the hospital. Walking in the long corridor was Rin beside her friend. Their faces were pale until they reached the parking lot, marking yet another new dispute.
