What Did I Say?

Staying in the Nurses office all day watching Emilia and doing his work, Ryan would see her stir from time to time. She didnt wake up until school was almost over and they only had 1 hour left before homeroom.

"Hello sleepy head." Ryan said when he noticed her eyes open.

Looking around as she sat up, Emilia had a puzled look on her face. When her eyes found him, Ryan could see her relax a little.

"Where are we?" Emilia asked.

"We are in the Nurses office because you wouldnt wake up this morning after you fell asleep." Ryan stated while looking back to his drawing.

"How did we get here?" Emilia asked as she remembers falling asleep on the bus.

"I carryed you off the bus before bringing you all the way here." Ryan said with a teasing smile.

"You carryed me!" Emilia's face flushed red after hearing him.

"Yeah, you also were talking in your sleep. Guess what you said to me." After thinking for a second Ryan lied to get back at her for worrying him.

Hearing him Emilia's face looked panicked as she darted under the covers.

"What did I say?" Ryan could hear her say from under the covers after a few seconds of silence.

Seeing her weird behavior was already enough to make him forget about how worried he was when she initially wouldnt wake up. However that didnt mean she didnt deserve a little punishment. In his eyes, it was obvious that something was wrong and that something brought her to the state she was in this morning.

"I think I'll keep it a secret for now." Ryan said with a mischievous grin.

Seeing her squirm a little under the covers, Ryan was satisfied with this punishment for now.

"I see your finally awake as you are makeing quite the commotion." Ms. Rastil said opening the curtain.

"Ryan can you please step out so i can do a check up again." Ms. Rastil said while holding the curtain open for him.

Getting up and going to sit were he had before. He could hear Emilia responding to questions the nurse ask and even asked a few herself. One question was about what she said in her sleep but as Ms. Rastil didnt know anything about it, she just told Emilia not to worry about it as sleep talking was a natural thing.

Allowed back in to sit next to Emilia they were told Emilia would need to stay so she could be check on periodically before the end of the day.

As they sat there Emilia stayed silent while periodically looking at him while he continued his drawing for art class. Every time he looked up and looked at her Ryan could see her fidgeting her hands.

"Ryan, I want to know what I said?" Emilia stated trying to sound as confident as she could.

"If you guess correctly, I'll let you know." Ryan said with a small smile.

"Thats not fair." Emilia protested.

As Ryan continued drawing he ignored Emilia's cry's of injustice. At this point he wasnt sure if she would believe him when he said he made it up so he could only keep digging in hope of strikeing gold, or a way back up. Whatever came first at this point.

"Was it about you?" She asked biteing her bottom lip.

Hearing her start to play 20 questions Ryan smiled and nodded. '2 can play this game." He laughed inwardly.

Swallowing nervously Emilia asked her second question.

"Was it also about Abandoned Kingdom's Online?"

Shakeing his head no, he could see Emilia didnt looked relieved but more worried.

"Was it also about me?" She asked to which he nodded.

"Was it about feelings?" Seeing him nod again she started to panic inside.

"Were they your feelings?" He shook his head only to make her panic more.

"Then they were mine?" Nodding Ryan was starting to enjoy their game.

"Did it involve a confession." She asked quickly only to leave him confused.

'Confession?' Deciding to nod he could see her eyes gloss over.

'I might of gone to far. Did I strike a mine instead of gold?' Ryan thought to himself as Emilia didnt ask any more questions and just stared at him.

"If you know then will you accept them?" Emilia asked after just sitting there for at least 5 minutes.

Hearing her he knew he found his ladder. Nodding he waited for her to say anything elts.

Seeing him nod made her tear up.

'Crap, I steped on the mine.' Ryan panicked from seeing her start to cry. Quickly standing up and going over to her, Ryan was surprised when she put her arms around him when he sat down next to her.

"Please dont cry." Ryan said while putting his arm around her and rubbing her back.

"I'm so happy you accepted me." Emilia said through her crying.

"I was so worried you would say you didnt like me." Hearing her was like the flick of a switch in his brain.

"Why wouldnt I like you." Ryan asked after feeling like a idiot.

"Because of how you act with Trish and Brooke. I thought you weren't interested in me. With me, you only comforted me but with them you were showing them affection." Emilia said after her tears stoped.

Hearing her, Ryan also realized that it could be seen that way. He huged her for comfort and when she was tired he let her sleep on his shoulder. The only time it wasnt for comfort was this morning but she was so tired that she probably thought he was doing it to make her sleep better.
