Time?

Logging out was easy enough and he even felt relieved as he has only felt pain for the past 2 hours.

Looking at his phone he was suprised. Rianna Said she had found him 3 days prior so that acounts for 36 hours. However based on his phone, 4 days in the real world had passed.

Not even sure how to react his mind was running a mile a minute trying to figure out what was going on. The only thing that seemed to come to mind was what the game called a nightmare but he wasn't in there for more than a hour at most.

Thinking back to the nightmare he looked up online to see if anyone elts had experienced something similar but there was nothing. Actualy, everyone was complimenting and praising the developers or rather the company that developed the game.

Although he was in the game for 4 days his body didnt seem any worse than when he started. He was a little hungry but he kind of expected that. Actually he expected to be starving.

Deciding to go downstairs he put on a shirt and opened his dore. After leaving his room he went downstairs not expecting anyone to be home as it was now the middle of the week and it was 10:36am. His sister would be at school and his mom would be at work. When he got to the bottom of the stairs it was as he thought, nobody was home. He shouldnt of even been home as he is in his last year of high school.

Finally at the bottom of the stairs he went to the kitchen. Makeing himself some grilled cheese he decided to eat and look up some information on his phone about the game.

Scrolling through the copius amounts of things about Abandoned Kingdom's Online looking for the stuff relating to what he needed to know.

'Lets see.'

Finding a few articles about what happens when you log out he started to eat

'So if you log out your character will be asleep and the NPC's see it like that? Well I guess that makes sense.'

Spending a hour just sitting on the couch looking at his phone he found a few more things he didnt know about and one arricle he had see by accident gave him some info he eventually wanted but didnt need at the moment.

Deeming that he had to prevent any more spoilers he deleted the search tabs so he wouldn't be tempted to look again. He then searched on the tv for the crime show his mom had put on before and watched it till he dozed off on the couch. He didnt intend to doze off but he was laying on his side watching tv and got rather comfy with one of the couch pillows under his head.

When he finally did wake up it was only because he felt someone stairing at him and could feel a hand running through his hair. The hand was small and when it reached around his neck it would lift off his head and start at the top again. Slowly opening his eyes he could see a figure sitting next to his stomach and had a knee resting close to his chest with their body facing him. When he finally woke up from his groggyness he realized it was his mother. She was just stareing at him with a warm smile.

"Morning sweetie."Jasmine said with a smile

"Morning."

Yawning he managed to respond while sitting up and adjusting himself so his back was to the back of the couch. Rubbing his eyes he looked around and only found his mom so he decided to ask about his sister.

"Where is Kana?"

"Kana is still at school like every other normal teenager." Jasmine responded like it was normal.

Tilting his head he had a puzzled look on his face. He figured she would be home already since his mom was home.

"What time is it?" Ryan asked.

"Its only 1:37 in the afternoon"

She must of understood his confusion as she continued.

"I only had to work till 11 today since I went in last night for the overnight shift."

"You really need to stop working 12 hour shifts like its nothing mom." He chided but knew it would be for not.

She only laughed and there conversation continued like this for a wile till she finaly asked.

"So... Do you want to tell me why you were playing that game for 4 days straight or do i need to get it out of you by other means?"

Although she sead this with a smile on her face, when he looked at her eyes he felt worry which confused him. it wasnt like he was confused why she was worried as he could understand that fact but what he didn't understand was that he could feel it. 'I thought that was just something I cound do because of the Mystic Leaf. So its not?' Sure he has always been sensitive to things like when someone staired at him and could even do it when his back was turned but that was only his body telling him of that fact. This on the other hand was something different.

'Could i always do this?'

He didnt think on the matter for long as he could feel his mother's worry grow and it was starting to make him feel uncomfortable.

"I can tell you, but there isnt much to tell really."

He stated and then proceeded to recall how he started playing and made his character. Skipping over the nightmare as he didnt even like to think of it he then proceeded to tell her about how when he was done with character creation he woke up and it was 4 days later. He recalled the small amount of time he spent with Rianna and how he just logged out earlier.

The whole time he was recalling what happened she just stared at him and let him finish without interrupting. She did have questions but by the sounds of it, not even her son knew what was going on.

"Well at least you are fine. Thats what matters the most." Was what she decided to say to him when he finally finished speaking.

"Well since you are now awake how about I make us lunch." At the mention of lunch he realized that he was indeed very hungry even though he had eaten grilled cheese just hours beforehand.

Seeing her son nod she got up and went to the kitchen to make a nice lunch for both of them.

After they finished lunch and talked about what has happened for the past 4 days Ryan heard about what happened the day he brought his sister and the others home.

According to her, when the store finaly ran out of the game people were forced to pay for the all in one VR edition or had to go home empty handed and this caused a big uproar to which the police had to step in to stop. Hearing about this left him speechless.

He also heard about how his sister hasnt left her room exept to eat and hang out with her every once in while to watch a movie. He thought that he would probably be the same because although he hasnt had the best experience so far, he still has enjoyed what has happened.

He was questioning if the game is makeing him a pervert. The way that thing called Poochy made his heart race was something he wouldnt forget. He dose not want to run back into Poochy but its not like he wouldnt want to feel like he was when he was running for his life.

'Ok, maybe i am turning into a pervert'.

However when he heard that Emilia, Brooke, and Trish were being the same way at their houses he couldn't help himself for worrying a little. He didnt know why he was feeling this way but he still worryed about them and their health. He started to ask more about them and how they were doing.

This did not escape Jasmine but she decided to not pry any further and just told him what she knew. She even offered to ask the three's parents with which he hesitantly nodded.

It was about 2:30pm that they stoped there chat and Jasmine went to watch some tv in the living room. Ryan joined her as he was waiting for Kana to get home so she could see that he was okay. Jasmine had also mentioned how much Kana had worryed about him. Kana had ended up spending some time in his room waiting for him to log out each day but he never did. He felt a little bad but there was nothing that could of been done.

Kana got out of school at 2:15pm but the bus had a long rout so she wouldnt get home till 2:45pm or 3pm at the latest.

Sitting on the couch they watched more of the crime show but for Ryan it was repeats as he had watched the episodes earlier that day. Not wanting to spoil anything he just kept his mouth shut and watched with her while casually typing away on his phone from time to time.
