Normal [ III ]

It's Lunchtime.

"(..Ugh.. I didn't know any of the stuff that the teachers are teaching... What am I doing even here..)"

Erin is sitting on her desk, and she has a sulking face. While Erin is still busy with babbling inside her mind, suddenly-

"Hey Erin! Wanna grab a lunch?"

Jessy come up, and greet Erin with a cheerful voice. Erin is startled, and then Mason come up too.

"Man, I'm hungry... What do you feel like getting Jess?"

"Maybe.. a sandwich..? Oh! the cafeteria has pork buns today!"

"Really? ..But I don't feel like I want it.."

"Eeh? Usually you go nuts whenever they sell pork buns.."

"Well, yeah.. But not today."

While Jessy and Mason talk about what they want to have for lunch, Erin pull out her lunchbox, and it attracts both Jessy and Mason attention.

"Oh, you bring a lunchbox?"

"Well, is it a surprise tho? She always bring lunchbox~"

Mason gives out a small laugh while Jessy is feeling sad.

"Mannnnn... I want to show Erin the cafeteria!"

"Well, sure she doesn't mind? Right, E-"

"Wha-?"

"Erin?"

Both of them look around, but..

Jess and Mason don't see any Erin. Only an empty desk.

Where is Erin?

"*pant* *pant*"

Erin is running towards the back of the school with hugging her lunchbox.

"Hah...hah... Finally..."

Erin took a deep breath, and fix her hair.

Erin look forward, and walk a couple steps towards the bushes.

*srk* *srk*

"..Kitty? Are you here?"

Erin rummage through the bushes, and then found-

"meow~"

"Kitty!"

A cat is sitting down behind the bushes.

Erin happily greet the cat and immediately pet it.

"Ooh! I miss you so much! How have you been? You must be really hungry..."

Erin sits down beside the cat, and the cat doesn't seems to be alerted by Erin. The cat is still sitting calmly beside Erin.

Erin opens her lunchbox,-

"Oh! Some salmon! You have always love salmon!"

Erin pick some of the salmon up with her hand, and give it to the cat.

The cat stands up, and eat the salmon from her hand.

Erin smile warmly while staring at the cat.

"(..Thank God they didn't notice me when I slip away.. I just wanted time for myself... And I want to see Kitty! I miss her so much! Because she is my best friend..)"

While Erin is deep in thought, suddenly the cat meows.

"meow~"

Then suddenly Erin snap back to the reality, and saw the cat have finished eating the salmon.

"Haha, do you wants more?"

"meow~"

Erin pick some of the salmon up and feed the cat again.

Then suddenly -

*Grooowl*

Erin's stomach is growling.

Erin laugh a bit, and starts to eat with the cat sitting beside her.

"Woah.. That is the best lunch! Especially because you are with me, Kitty!"

Erin pick the cat up and hug it.

"Thank you for being my friend..."

Erin let go of the cat, and the cat meows.

"Meoww~"

"Hehe.. Hm?"

Erin just realized something.

"(...Wait... If I have gone many days not going to school... and feed Kitty.... then how is she.... She is still in a good shape?)"

Erin is trying to think of something, when suddenly -

*RRRRRIIIINNNGGGG*

"AGH!"

Erin hears a loud ringing. Erin close her ears. trying to stop the ringing, but-

*RRIIINNGGG*

It's not stopping.

"Ah! S-stop!!"

Erin close her eyes because of how painful her ears and head is.

"STOP!"

Erin screams, and then she opens her eyes slightly to see the cat is standing and hissing.

"Hiss!"

Erin is confused by what is happening.

Erin close her ears, and begged the ringing to stop...

And then her ears is starting to stop the ringing.

Erin is sweaty, and terrified.

Erin look at the cat, and the cat is starting to calm down too.

Erin look around, and she doesn't see anything.

And then something click inside her head.

"..Wait.."

Erin realized if this had happened before.

"(But... Doctor Perry said it is normal...)"

Erin shrug the feeling off when she thought about Doctor Perry words.

Erin sigh, and then suddenly the cat is on top of Erin's lap.

It's purring, and Erin feels more calm, and comfortable.

Erin pet the cat gently, and lean back on the tree behind her.

Erin starts to feel sleepy, and Erin can feel if the cat is already asleep on top of her lap.

Erin yawn, and then fell asleep under the shades of the tree.
