"Little Hua, you can go first." Xu Jia Qi said as if she ignored Yang Kai's words, but behind the veil, she blushed deeply as she felt his words were a bit demeaning; they were accurate as Yang Kai's face looked as if the heavens themselves sculpted it.

Thankfully she was wearing the veil, so no one noticed.

"Yes, Young Master." Little Hua said as she gave Xu Jia Qi a bow before leaving the room.

Now only two people remained in the room.

Xu Jia Qi closed the door, arranged a soundproof room, walked over, and sat on the chair, staring at Yang Kai with her storm-like eyes.

Yang Kai didn't answer immediately as he lowered his head in silence.

Yang Kai didn't know how to respond.

Maybe he did, but deep down, he feared the outcome.

He remained silent, having an internal battle with himself.

As time passed, Xu Jia Qi gradually became indifferent.

Xu Jia Qi said in a cold tone, but for some reason, she was inexplicably... disappointed.
