Part of me

I have faced that demon that one day I believe,

and looking into his eyes I could be surprised,

for the cruelty of his gaze and the disdain of his vision,

his disgust at looking at me needs no explanation,

because in his eyes I betrayed what I was and what I am,

I became the most repudiated of all creation, I disguised myself as a human with feelings and heart.
