The shining sun came out from the horizon indicating the beginning of a new day, and the Queen of Wales and England looked at it from the commodity of her, just as luxurious as the first, secondary room.
Sitting on a couch with a blanket covering her mature body, wondering if she was going to burn to death the moment the sun touched her.
She stood up and walked to the window.
Desiring to test if that would be the case and she would have to stay in this palace twenty-four seven for all of eternity, even though she saw Alucard didn't have an issue in his memories, maybe she wouldn't have that kind of resistance?
Determining herself, she thought she would be able to 'flee' inside the room the moment the sun started burning her body.
As it came out from the horizon and the rays of the sun touched her skin, she felt a little heat!
"KYAAAA!!" She hurriedly got inside afraid that she would vanish like a puff of smoke the next second!
"Your Majesty! Everything's okay?!" She heard a shout from outside, a group of guards were now stationed right outside of her room, It felt like captivity rather than custody.
"I-I'm alright" she stuttered with a weary smile, 'I'm not!'
'Alucard! I'm burning!' She screamed in silence wondering if that man would ever come back! He had left her here with this 'condition' and disappeared just like that!
'...No, you're not.'
She stopped right at that moment as her eyes opened wide. Hurriedly turning around left and right! Where is he!? She just heard him!
"Show yourself, Count Dracula! I'm not afraid of you!" She said defiantly with teary eyes, she took a silver cross from the table, her personal, one and held it as if it was a miniature sword!
"I have a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it!" She billowed to the hiding vampire, wanting him to come out so that she could see him again.
Her actions just weren't making any sense...
'Not afraid of me but afraid of the sun... that toy you have there can't do shit to me. Moreover, you can leave your false bravado; I know you just want to see me. I'm not in the room, I'm somewhere else' She received his nonchalant voice.
Only now did she notice that it was a thought, not a voice!
"Where are you!? Are you a parasite living inside my head now?" She threw her useless silver catholic cross aside, it didn't do anything to her, what could it possibly do to him?!
'I... will ignore that and no, I'm somewhere else.'
"Come..."
'What for?'
"Come and see me."
'No.'
"Come!"
'Forceful much?' He sent back with a snicker.
"You transformed me into this! I wasn't able to sleep last night! Take responsibility!" She pouted and sat on the couch once again harrumphing like a little girl, but inwardly she was joyful, that she could speak to him even if just mentally.
'Aren't you mourning your guards?'
"I-I'm sorry for calling them, but you didn't have to slaughter them, they were good people! also, don't change the subject, take responsibility!"
'Anyone willing to take a gun is not innocent, moreover, it was my intestines that blew up first, not theirs. Vampires don't need to sleep, aren't you thankful? You needn't sleep any longer.'
"I love sleeping! take... responsibility!" This man is unreasonable! She was here waiting for him patiently! Why won't he come!?
'... How exactly do you want me to take responsibility my little Queen~?'
She blushed on the spot and huffed, "I-I'm n-not yours..." she stuttered slightly.
'Oh? Aren't you?'
She bit her lips as her big chest heaved up and down under her royal blanket.
"I d-don't know, maybe if you come, we will figure it out." She emboldened to a degree impressive to even her and sent back a message, clutching her blanket tighter.
'Hehehe bold~, I like it. I can't go right now, but I will visit you later'.
"I'm alone you know? In this big room..." she tempted him with a smile, enjoying this banter a lot.
'... am I supposed to take a flying saucer and be there as fast as possible?' He asked with a chuckle.
"No... It's better if you just do your teleporting thingy!"
Outside of the room, the guards looked at each other with bewildered expressions. Did the Queen go mad? Maybe she was just on the phone...
Also, it turned out she had a hidden lover, but most people suspected that in the country, how could a beautiful and young woman like her not have a lover?
'I'll stop now, try to control your thoughts, I can hear everything you think. It works like a network, you're subconsciously sending your thoughts into this network. Will them to remain in your mind.'
At that moment Catherine's whole body started shaking as she blushed!
H-Had he been listening, to everything she thought last night!?
'Yes, you're quite the pervert to imagine me naked like that, truly the Queens always wear the best facades~, brings me back memories of Elizabeth Tudor, hahaha Virgin Queen... Quite the adventurous lover she was.' Alucard sent back with a light laugh.
Catherine was still too stunned to pay attention to his words. God, The things she had imagined last night!
"W-wait don't hang up!"
'We're not on the phone...'
"UHG! Then don't stop talking, tell me what are you going to do?" She didn't want to stop talking with him.
'I'm not talking.'
"You! You know what I mean!"
'...'
"Don't you dare leave me here taking alone, Vlad Tepes!" She used the ultimate card.
'... How do you know that name...' he asked back, this time his voice was cold, not his playful self from before.
The True Count.
"T-There are many books written about you... from different origins, I haven't read any, but your name is fairly known, also... I saw it, in your memories..."
'You what?'
"I saw your memories, when you transformed me in this, I suppose... " She said with a little uncertainty, she wouldn't know how to feel if he saw her memories as well...
Alucard didn't answer any of her questions after that...
The next few hours were on her couch, trying to figure out the whole 'network' thing.
She was asked to have her breakfast by the maids but rejected them. She didn't have an appetite.
*RING!*
Her phone rang as she practised, it was hard when that stupid vampire didn't tell her if he heard her or not. Her phone rested and vibrated on the bed
She hadn't touched her phone ever since last night.
The stories she saw on social media and videos were now quite monotone, she was more interested in knowing what happened after that vision, with him and his disciple... Or his lover.
Taking the phone, she saw that It was her daughter.
'Edward must have told her everything...', she concluded and answered the phone.
"Mother! Are you alright!?" The frantic voice of her daughter resounded through the phone the moment she answered the call, as much as her daughter didn't tolerate her, she was still her daughter and she worried for her safety.
"My dear Jane, I'm alright! That monster didn't do anything to me!" She tried to reassure her daughter, going straight to the point as Edward likely told her everything already.
"Are you sure mother? How did that monster look?! Why didn't you call me straight away? It was Edward that told me."
"S-Sorry dear, I guess I was still a little scared, that's all. He was humanoid and asked me questions about some 'Protestant knights' that I don't know of... After I called the guards due to him putting his guard down, he murdered and ate them, then left!" Catherine knew that as long as she said the truth, her voice wouldn't stutter and it would be credible.
She was a bad liar, and her daughter was the best at catching lies, what a pair.
"Was that all that happened, mother? Do you want me to call Yang Chen!?" Her worried daughter kept pressing and pressing for information, something wasn't right, her mother was a little too calm.
"No need Jane, I'm really alright, there is no need to involve Yang Chen in this~" she had made her decision, she would involve no one in this, especially Yang Chen.
"Yang Chen?" Her daughter asked back in confusion.
'Oh my!' Catherine realised her mistake, she never calls him by his name!
"Y-Yes! Don't tell Chen Chen any of this, it will just worry him unnecessarily, he might be busy with his condition and all!" She realised her slip and cursed her daughter's smart mind for the first time.
"I see, take care of yourself mother, I'll arrange better security for you, if that bastard was able to get close then probably your security service is incompetent!"
"Y-Yes! Cheers dear, I'll go now~" she doubted any elite service would be able to stop someone from teleporting in and out of her bedroom, and she didn't want to stop him anyway.
