Ruoxi's Boundless Happiness IV

The man grits his teeth and shot Alucard a cold but tamed glance, he knew he wasn't a match for this man. So, turning heels; he got in his BMW and departed.

Seeing the way everything ended the Raven-haired beauty almost knelt on the ground as she showed her appreciation.

"Thank you, thank you! I thought I would be sacked from the company just now! Thank you so much, Boss!" She hugged her boss without inhibitions expressing her thanks, how long was that bastard going to harass her? It might even have turned out worse!

She then turned to Alucard and bowed the lowest she could, "Thank you very much, Chairman Tepes, if it wasn't for your words, who knows what might have happened if I let that bastard have his way, I was scared..."

"Don't worry, hmm" He mumbled, unaware of her name.

"Liu Mingyu, my name is Liu Mingyu from the PR Department, Chairman Tepes. A pleasure to meet you, once again... thank you" She said with the brightest smile she could muster, the nightmare was finally over.

"Then don't worry Miss Mingyu, don't let yourself be swayed by fear, Let's go, Ruoxi." Alucard turned around beckoning Lin Ruoxi to follow him, the latter was still processing his latest words as she hooked her arm with his again.

There was something about him that despite his middle-aged appearance, made him sound like a sage.

"I'll keep your words to heart Chairman Tepes, I hope we can meet again~" Liu Mingyu waved at the two, her eyes staying at Alucard's back for longer than she herself would like to admit.

"You have to send me the recording through Bluetooth Vlad, thank you for saving it like that, if you hadn't done it, that idiot would have escaped." The two walked to the parked Lamborghini and she addressed him with a gaze full of gratitude, she was starting to trust him more and more, whenever she was with him, it was like only good things happened.

'Whenever I am with you, I never lose, Vlad'.

"That's what lovers are for, right?~" Alucard T-backed Ruoxi into the car and his pink eyes shone looking at her.

She blushed and bit her lips, a theme she very much desired to tackle "We have yet to decide that~"

The CEO then turned around and got into the pilot cabin of the Lambo, unashamedly declaring she would drive, "I took your car as you said it's really nice and comfy but you can have it back now, my Bentley is in my house already."

Alucard's mouth twitched as a certain draculine shook in fear.

"Hehe, you say that but keep driving it, don't worry Ruoxi I already bought a new one, you can keep this one, the papers are in the cabinet, and I already put it in your name." He got in and declared.

"You shouldn't be spending your savings on expensive cars, Vlad, if you keep buying million dollars Hypercars as if they were boxers, you will be broke in no time, and I will have to support you!" She started the car and huffed in reprimand, as a compulsive saver and investor, Alucard's expenditure almost caused her a headache.

"I wouldn't mind being supported by the CEO of Yu Lei International~"

The two left and her eyes opened wider when she saw his new Ferrari.

"You! couldn't you have bought a BMW or something?!"

"Wanna race?" He said with a snicker, ignoring her grandma's complaints. She rolled her eyes and drove off, ignoring him.

"Forget it, let's go. it's already evening; the place I want to go to closes at 8 pm" Ruoxi drove the car out of the company, taking full advantage of mileage.

Alucard noticed she placed the box of chocolates between them.

"Oh? I thought you wanted to throw them away. Did you like them?" He asked looking away, but very aware of her every reaction.

She blushed for the hundredth time today and sent him a furtive glance, "Y-Yes, I liked them"

"I see, then have some more." He took one and presented it to her.

"I'm driving Vlad!" She huffed but opened her mouth, not taking her eyes away from the road.

Obviously, she wanted him to feed her.

And so Alucard did.

Lin Ruoxi drove happily as Alucard fed her with chocolates.

'Master you're so wicked, that girl is like a little butterfly dancing in your webs, entangling herself more and more~'

'... I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just spoiling her a bit.'

'Yes yes, 'for her to stretch her neck voluntarily' see? I completed it for you... or could it be that you see some resemblance in her? someone that you long since hadn't seen.' Alcina asked, her voice sounding insecure.

'Don't touch upon her, Alcina. I'm already with the two of you; what need is there to ruminate over the past...?' Alucard's cold voice resounded in their minds-cape

'I understand master, sorry.'

The two reached a red light and Lin Ruoxi finally focused on Alucard, this time, she intended to be proactive.

No words were exchanged between the two; Alucard smirked and looked at the chocolates, there weren't many left.

Ruoxi took one from the box and placed it in her mouth; without even doubting it once she bent towards him; sealing both of their lips in another searing kiss that lasted until the lights changed, which she -for the first time in her life- hoped they'd stay red a little longer.

'I think I'm getting addicted to this, Vlad...' She thought, tracing her lips and looking forward to the next red light.

After a couple of kisses with and without chocolate; a small journey Lin Ruoxi purposefully made longer than necessary, they finally reached their destination.

The two stopped in front of a small store.

"This is my favourite restaurant in Zhonghai, please don't laugh!" She almost wanted to hide In embarrassment but wanted to introduce him to the marvellousness of her favourite food.

"Why would I laugh? Glutinous rice balls? I've never heard of it." Alucard naturally didn't know what those were, maybe if you pour some fresh blood in it he will grow interested.

The two got in and Ruoxi suggested him some from the menu.

"Hmmm, not bad, but Ruoxi these are snacks, how can it be your favourite restaurant? Hahaha!" Alucard tasted one of the famous rice balls with the attendant peeking at them from behind the counter, it was the first time the CEO of Yu Lei International, Lin Ruoxi, brought a man with her, and how could she not recognise him?

He's the man she just had the conference with, Vlad Tepes!

"I told you not to laugh!" She billowed with her mouth full of glutinous rice!

"Hehehe! I'm not laughing!" He answered also with his mouth filled to the brim.

Overall, the two spent a joyful time together.

"Ruoxi, about our marriage." Alucard wanted to touch on the topic now that they were going back to her house.

She perked but just as soon she said, "I think we should leave that for now Vlad."

"Huh?" Alucard mumbled confused as he got in the pilot cabin.

"Vlad, I-"

"Alucard... Call me Alucard" he requested... although Vlad was his name, he didn't feel identified with it anymore, merely... for the sake of formality it was better to be named Vlad than Alucard.

"It feels weird calling you that, Isn't that just Dracula inversed?" She said rolling her eyes.

"Precisely..."

"Are you that much of his fan? Your name is Vlad Tepes and you call yourself Alucard... Come on tell me, I won't laugh~"

"Truth be told, Count Dracula is my biggest inspiration and star, he's like my superman", Alucard said with his eyes almost shining.

'Pft! Master!'

"Whatever you say, Count~ as I was saying, I wanted to leave that matter to the side. I don't want to get married to you just for pretence... I feel we can be something, something authentic." Her hands held his free one as he drove off.

"Catherine didn't accept, she doesn't want me to marry anyone but her." He said simply, it was easier now that she backed off.

'I don't accept either~'

"And neither does Alcina..." He added with rolled eyes.

'Of course, she wouldn't accept! I wouldn't either!' Ruoxi thought looking down at her heaving chest. For some reason, she felt like the mistress going in between two lovers...

"C-Can you even marry the Queen?" Her head slumped and her shoulders dropped.

As confident as she was in herself, beating the prestige of a Queen was simply dreaming.

"No, I can't. It's complicated, but I don't want to stop this between us Ruoxi." He said and stopped in red light, his eyes expressing desire.

"I don't want to be a mistress Vlad, I don't want you to deceive her and be with me on her back" It didn't feel good to be a home-wrecker, she wasn't that type of woman.

"Who said anything about deceiving and cheating~?" Alucard left the words in the air and said nothing else throughout the journey; no matter how much Ruoxi asked for the meaning of his words.

Following the GPS he took Ruoxi home.

'Master, her father is in the house.'

He still remembered her conversation about how her father was a piece of shit with her.

'How about we put the Berry on the cake Alcina?, Hehe.'

His shadow extended as he drove fusing with the car's and from there a girl with White Russian clothes appeared, disappearing and appearing right in front of Lin Ruoxi's villa.

Alucard's second body.

'Her father's name is Lin Kun, he's an infamous bad gambler and millionaire. A piece of shit.' His draculine said offhandedly, her senses all over the situation, watching everything from his point of view.

Alucard rang the bell, and shortly after a woman in her fifties opened the door.

"Oh? Can I help you with something Mr Xu? Coming this late evening, Ruoxi isn't here at the moment" Wang Yulan opened the door and in front of her was a young adult wearing a red Tuxedo.

Alucard stood there, watching her for a while.

'Master?'

'Can't you smell it?'

'Smell what?'

'...'

"Hello Ma'am, I actually didn't come for Ruoxi today, is Lin Kun present? Could you call him over?" 'Xu Zhihong' smiled, his smile disgusted Wang Ma, especially the familiarity he used to refer to Ruoxi.

How could she not know his intentions!?

"Wait a minute please, I'll call him over." Wang Ma had her doubts, why come so late at night and how did he know Lin Kun was here? But regardless he was the Xu Zhihong she had seen before and an acquaintance of Lin Kun.

After a few minutes, Lin Kun came out with a bewildered expression.

"Zhihong!? It's really you? What are you doing here? Did something happen?" Lin Kun had no idea why this man was here now.

'Xu Zhihong' smiled wickedly and took Lin Kun by the shoulder as his eyes shone red.

"Listen here, Lin Kun. From now onwards you will treat Lin Ruoxi like she's your most special treasure and that woman inside with all the respect you can muster, give them whatever they need and follow whatever Lin Ruoxi says to the tee, she will come back with a man in a few minutes and you will receive the two of them as if they're at their own home, announce that you no longer think she marrying me is a good idea and that instead, she should choose her own partner. All of that you will do and then you will fuck off, are we clear?!" 'Xu Zhihong' held Lin Kun's neck to the point of almost breaking it as the latter groaned in pain but nodded hurriedly as his eyes flickered between light and darkness.

"Go back now!"

As fast as he came out, Lin Kun returned inside as 'Xu Zhihong' disappeared into the shadows.

'Do you think she will appreciate you brainwashing her father, master? She might hate you once she knows that the love her father showed her is fake...'

'She doesn't need to know, humans live their whole life believing self-imposed lies, what's one more to the count?'

The Chairman and CEO drove in a ride of passion and kisses and as expected Lin Ruoxi invited Alucard inside her villa upon arriving.

What awaited her inside would be a shock from which she would hardly recover!
