After Lu Lingqi's thirst finally sated, the spoiled daughter stood up with curled lips that the three of them had to consider a 'bright smile'.
They prepared to leave towards the Qilin Region as Alucard erased the dark dome.
The place was totally desolated as they flew, it would be easier to blink, but Lingqi was not omnipresent, so they had to fly there as fast as they could.
The distance separating the Qilin Region and the Vajra Region was about ten thousand kilometres (6200 mi), with their speeds it would take them some hours to reach there without blinking.
Catherine suggested going ahead as she was truly worried about the Qilin, but Alucard thought otherwise, it was better to get more intel and understand the scale of this event.
The last mythical monster appeared a thousand years ago. If another one happened to appear now, which he thought was too weird to be a coincidence, but let it be... It could be the case that the whole of Huaxia is involved in this matter.
Including the four sects.
So far they knew, that the sect masters discussed this and the conclusion was not clear.
In any case, the Qilin hasn't yet been spotted.
With Lingqi around his neck and his two Draculines, the count flew towards the thrilling Qilin Region, expectant of what way would everything unfold.

Within the Kunlun Mountains, the situation isn't tranquil in the slightest.
Sacred Sword Sect, Main Palace Hall.
Within this majestic floating hall, three figures sat at a round table.
One of them is a middle-aged man in white and golden robes, his long black hair reached his back and hovered in apparent antigravitation, behind him, lying on the wall was a majestic golden sword that emitted an ominous aura, blue shining runic glyphs accentuated all over its blade.
He is today's host, and also, the master of the Sacred Sword Sect, Bai Huangshao: 7th Great Purity Divine Thunder (Great Perfection)
At the other side of the table, a bulky man with a stature of at least two metres fifty sat on the relatively small seat with his legs crossed, wearing a tight battle suit grasped in a glistening armour made of golden scales… No Sword or weapon could be seen around him.
His slitted eyes glanced with a possessive and wretched glint towards the last figure in the room.
His name is Lin Tianfeng: 7th Great Purity Divine Thunder (Great Perfection)
At the middle of the table with her slender jade legs crossed in an alluring manner, the strongest of the three sect masters though not by a wide margin, her appearance was as imposing as it was seductive, covered in a majestic pink and golden attire.
Her long silky auburn hair fluttered through space gracefully as her pearly sky blue eyes that accentuated her beauty carved by the primordials, gazed at nothing in particular, preferring to look at anything rather than lay her eyes on those two fools.
Shen Wanqing, 8th Supreme Purity Divine Thunder (Early-Stage)
…
"Where is Luoshen? we accorded that all of us would be present in the same place to evade 'unpleasantries'" the bulky man was the first to speak, his eyes didn't ever leave the woman's body, as if he was talking to her, but in reality, he was just blatantly staring at her body.
"He said he's in closed cultivation… But promised he won't be participating in the hunt directly…" Huangshao uttered with a mild growl.
"You can't possibly be expecting him to respect his end of the deal… Such a simple thing as being present here and he can't even accomplish that. Cultivate? Could it be that he's going to cultivate in a way that he can't do it with us here?" Tianfeng snickered and shot a glare both their ways.
The two frowned but didn't answer his clear mocking.
The use of 'unorthodox' methods to cultivate and raise one's strength is not foreign to any of them, but that doesn't mean they mention that publicly.
"I never expected him to respect his end, but if I see him actively coercing or fighting my sect members, it won't end with some lost limbs" The woman's alluring voice resounded in clear mock as she ignored Tianfeng's comment.
"Do you want to fight Wanqing? Must I remind you that it was my Dragon Slayer Sect that initially found the first Qilin's leads? It just so happened that I felt like sharing the information with you all, don't come here and act as if this is a fair competition, that Qilin belongs to me by right!" Tianfeng shouted in outrage prompting the other two sect masters to huff.
'Share? You were forced by the information our spies have on you… Fool.'
"Don't mention my name so casually, Youngster. Need I remind you that your presence here is pure luck?" Wanqing's eyes opened to reveal fire as her mannerism changed completely.
"You're just a lucky dog that happened to get his hands on some dragon-scale treasury! Who do you think you are!?"
The two sect masters released their pressure at that very moment!
*RUMBLE!!*
But at that moment.
*FIUSH!!*
The sword that was leaning on the wall released a threatening intent that made the two sect masters shift Huangshao glares of their own as space itself seemed to dwarf under their intents.
...
"Need I remind you where you are? I wouldn't put so much trust in a single tribulation, Wanqing…" The middle-aged man's voice resounded towards the two of them, but it was clear he was siding with Tianfeng…
The Lonely Maiden Sect Master's oppressive aura didn't diminish in the slightest even as two powerhouses pressured her, but in the end, she receded with a growl.
The truth is, the sect masters of the four great sects aren't friendly in the slightest.
What's more, through thousands of years, this is the first time three of them have been reunited in the same place.
Sect Master Bai Huangshao, he's no doubt the most skilled of the four, his sword arts are something none of them would like to contend against. His sword, <Divine Will Breaker> has long since been categorized as a mythical sword, it is said to have sent dozens of Heretic Gods into reincarnation, ancestor of the Bai Clan.
Sect Master Shen Wanqing, her cultivation is the highest due to inheriting the Phoenix's legacy, the last mythological beast to have been seen since a thousand years ago when they all seemingly disappeared. Her presence within the four sects was rather shallow beforehand as the only female to have ever inherited the title of Sect Master in history, she's also the current ancestor of one of the seven great clans, the Shen Clan.
Sect Master Lin Tianfeng, by far the youngest of them all, during the purge of the dragons he managed to attain a lucky encounter that gave him the possibility of increasing his strength drastically, after defeating the Dragon King, he created the Dragon Slaying Sect. Of the four sect masters, he's the one that hadn't ever fought a heretic god, therefore usually ends up as the clown of the room, Ancestor of the Lin Clan.
Sect Master Xie Luoshen, by far the oldest and most wicked of them all, his true power is unknown, but one thing is true, he seemed to be very close with the supreme immortal before he started his 'rest', Also ancestor of the Xie Clan, currently absent.
The three continued their faceoff until Huangshao's visage changed suddenly, being noticed by the other two.
...
He remained silent for a while.
"What's wrong Huangshao? you should at least tell us of any news you have." Wanqing probed.
"... The group of my Sacred Sword Sect sent to the mysterious dark dome, has been completely annihilated." He said with a gloomy voice and shot them deep glares. Those words surprised the other two sect masters drastically.
He just received a jade message where it stated that the aura trackers placed on the elite group went silent one by one in an interval of less than an hour!
All of them had been killed in less than an hour! He was aware of how powerful that lineup was! That's why he shot glares at his two 'comrades' such a thing could only be done by a group of another of the sects.
