Zuri could not believe her ears. 'Ruthless?' she wondered. It was as if she hadn't heard Kathy properly.
Another whipping sound came and now, and the pace picked up.
"When is it going to stop?" she asked.
"It would be thirty in all…" Sandra replied. Her arms were folded and she had a smile on her face. Heller had hurt her and Kathy in the past so watching this brought a surreal amount of pleasure to her.
"That's a special whip and the saline solution that Khad sprays on the injury increases the pain and slows down the healing process" she explained as she smacked her lips. "Serves the short thing right, right, Kathy?"
"Uh huh…"
Zuri was about to take a step away from where they were and return to her quarters but Kathy advised against it.
"Some vampires here, especially Heller's men would not be so happy with what has happened… so you should stay here and go back when the prince is done."
