After bonding with his wife for almost an hour, Ella finally released Leon to go check up on his mum.
When Leon got to his mother's bedroom, he tapped on the door lightly before entering. "Hi, mum."
"Hello, my baby," Marissa ran into her son's waiting arms and hugged him tightly. "I've missed you so much."
Marissa freed herself from Leon's arms, cupped his face with both hands and showered it with lots of kisses.
"Mum, come on, I'm not a baby." Leon giggled. He freed himself from her motherly hold and gazed tenderly into her shimmering eyes. "Save these kisses for my sons."
Leon could see that his mum was holding back tears. He also knew how miserable she was at holding back her emotions. This made him feel sorry for her at the ordeal she would have gone through at the hands of Ella.
