Reaper moved through the mostly dormant village his steps made no sound as he jumped between houses. He arrived at the gate of the village and studied the construction of the gate it was a wood more sturdy than ironwood or hawk steel.

Reaper looked to his right and headed in the direction at an insane speed. upon arriving he saw a creature that looked like a bear and a lizard. reaper grabbed the creature's snout and pulled up the creatures head it came off with ease the purple blood spilled onto the ground and on reaper's body.

Reaper soon returned to the village and continued to investigate the still awake people in the village. He finally got something useful the cultivator they were talking about would come in a week. If he could meet him he should have more knowledge of this world.

Reaper made his plans for the encounter with the man he had three plans depending on the outcomes and had five hundred sub plans ready if anything deviated.

He wandered the village repeatedly listening to conversations even if some were useless it was better to hear someone's day and gain bits of information than nothing at all. Soon he arrived at one of the bigger houses in the village from what he knew this was the home of a small martial artist family in the village.

He watched as a boy and a man had a spar the man was of course holding back but now by much as the child was actually very decent. Soon the man caught the child off guard and planted him into the ground. The dust became unsettled blocking the vision of normal humans but reaper kept watching as they fought.

"Sen take this it shall help you reach the next level." the man handed the marble to sen and later his shoulder.

"What is this?" the boy said as he looked at the marble curiously.

"That is a pill this pill is called as the swift soaring pill this shall help you gain Qi into your body as a martial artist this will help you against cultivators." the man explained as he soon left.

Reaper looked at the pill before he dispersed into the dark night.

The man in the front had a long white beard he was in his 90 he was also injured by a sword attack on his chest the others were 20 and 28 respectively. They all wore free robes with a cloud token on their waist.

The men next to the old one looked healthy and full of vitality they had a more prideful expression than the older man. he looked calm showing that he had truly aged and would not fall to something stupid like pride.

One of the people in the group was a girl she was the youngest looking and she looked the same as the older man she had some of the same features as the old man. Soon they arrived at the entrance and slowly landed their swords.

Three people came out to greet the cultivators one was a frail old man and another was a man he knew he was one of the martial artist families' patriarchs. The third was a woman and this one was very secluded but she was also the leader of a martial family. They bowed to the cultivators and the old man returned a nod to them.

"Oh, grand cultivators welcome to our humble village please follow me I I guide you to your rooms." the frail man said this man was the village chief and he was the oldest in the village at 275 years old.

The man guided the cultivators unto the village the villagers and outsiders greeted the cultivators fervently as they passed by soon they entered the village chief's house and the door closed.

'I can easily kill them if need be but I must learn about this world.' reaper thought as he examined the information he obtained. he walled off into an ally and continued his wait for the start of the sect examination as they called it.
