Chapter 34 Our First Chance
Arianna's POV
After I fell from the heavens, my angel body died, disintegrating into small particles of light and mixing with the fiery ashes of the devil. Losing its memories, my soul was reborn as a human. And so was his, the devil that took everything from me.
My first life as a human started in Rome, in the midst of the Roman Empire, I was an ordinary plebeian child, born to a merchant father and loving mother. I grew up not expecting much from life but I lived it to the fullest, keeping my parents happy and expecting to be married off to another ordinary man.
The last thing I expected was to catch the eye of a patrician; someone from the higher class and not just an ordinary man but a merciless one that never let go of something he wanted.
