Chapter 29 It Ends With Us

"Can I ask how old you are?" He asked, following me as I walked down the corridor that would lead me to the master bedroom, the room that Aria and I shared. "Because you don't look much older than me," he added on.

"I was 29 when I passed away."

"What!? You're only a year older than me! That's so weird, that probably means that my mother is younger than me, that's even weirder!" I wonder who he got his personality from?

"You stop ageing after you die. In the time that I've been dead and travelling worlds, I haven't aged. Forget ageing, I haven't had to sleep, eat or even use the bathroom."

"That must be useful," I didn't say anything to that but yes, it was quite useful.

"So, what will you do now?" He changed the subject.

"Continue on my journey," I answered.

"What journey?" He asked.

"The journey to find my wife," I added.

"I don't understand."

"I'd be surprised if you did," I gave him a look then continued on my way.
