34. First evolution: Aria's inherited memories

After buying the first set of nutrients, Julius stared at the monster core in his hand. It has a weird oval shape and he could feel it emitting a high amount of Mana.

Julius smiled and then he went back to his dorm first.

Upon getting Inside, he saw Levi on his bed still studying the element book and then he smiled as he came in.

In that moment, Maru came out of his own bathroom with a red towel on and he saw Julius there who just entered the room.

"Oh, Prince Julius. Where did you go after classes?" Maru asked with a blink.

"Well, I went to check out the pet store to start my Bond's growth. There will be a lot of things in this school to help us grow," Julius said and then Levi removed his eye from his book and looked at Aria who also looked at him and frowned.

"Seems like she has taken me as an enemy," Levi smiled bitterly and Julius laughed.

"Hm. Well, in the semi-annual exams we'll probably be paired up as a team. I don't want anyone slacking," Maru said as he looked at the two boys and then Julius and Levi agreed.

'There are a few ways for the Lycanaur to grow. They can absorb Mana by eating the mana cores of beasts. Or they can just grow older and get stronger naturally. They can live up to 10,000 years normally as said in the book I read.' Julius then had a sudden thought in mind.

'I can't help but find her weird. How long could she have been on that mountain for? Where are the parents? Not to even talk of the fact that I didn't read anything about this in the novel...

Well... she compliments me perfectly.' He thought with a smile and proceeded to feed her the mana core first.

"Here you go." He gave it to her and she looked at it weirdly.

She then suddenly gulped the whole thing down and Julius' eyes widened.

"Fuck, you're supposed to absorb it, not swallow it whole..." Julius said to her with a frown and she couldn't help but whimper.

*"It looked sweet."* She said to him and then she crawled under his hand.

"I seriously hope it deformed and turns into pure Mana inside you." Julius sighed and then he waited.

He used the Celestial lens and the entire world became black and white. He looked towards Aria and noticed that the energy inside her was growing rapidly and she seemed to even be in a sleep like state.

He watched over her and then he kept her close to the bed on a small blanket and closed his eyes to sleep.

The next morning, Julius nearly screamed as his heart jumped the moment he saw large canines in front of his face.

He sat up as he looked and he saw a large wolf in front of his bed.

"Aria?" He was shocked.

*"Yes! I finally grew!!"* She jumped around excitedly and then Julius took a good look at her.

She stood a little bit shorter than him now and he now saw her large wings. They were beautiful and resembled that of an eagle.

"We thought you would even be more shocked than that, hahaha..." Levi laughed and Maru chuckled lightly.

"The classes for today are scheduled for later on. I'll take Aria out after breakfast." Julius thought and then he laid back down.

Julius headed to the cafeteria and on his shoulder was Aria in the form of a little wolf.

The place was big with many floors and he just used his map to find an empty table.

'Its quite convenient that the map also has such a feature.' He thought and he sat down.

He looked at a tablet floating on the table and ordered for food for him and Aria, and then he squinted his eyes at her.

"So you said, you have inherited memories of what, spells?" Julius asked to be sure.

*"Yes, I have three skills which I can train in. They are very strong! Celestial gate, starry path Dance, and Eclipse nova!" Julius listened to her as if he was going to learn a very powerful spell himself.

According to Aria the celestial gate actually is used to teleport by creating portals, ar rhe highest form, she would be able tear the space between dimensions to pass through.

Julius was very surprised by this and this was because most powerful space element users in this world hadn't even reached that level. This made him have respect for this strange race of magical beasts.

The second memory 'Starry path dance' is a movement technique which makes her able to run faster, at the mid stages she would be able to create real clones of herself and at the maximum level she would be able to bypass physical space while she moves at light speed.

And finally, the third memory. The eclipse nova. Although not actually needing an eclipse to work, by using both space and light elements, she is able to create black holes fused with burning light which disintegrates everything it comes in contact with.

Julius was more than shocked when he heard this and he wondered if it was even possible.

'For her race to be able to do this, they must also be quite able to understand the concept of mind, the technique could be sealed in her bloodline. It's not impossible, but very difficult.' Julius said and then he sighed.

The cafeteria was very noisy and some people couldn't help but look at the prince as he ate with his bond on a separate table.

He then saw a beautiful girl with blonde hair who came to sit opposite him and he raised a brow as he saw Glory there.

"What are you doing eating all by yourself?" She asked him and then his confused expression vanished.

"Well, I'm making important plans," He said to her and she grabbed Aria.

"Is this your bond?" She asked and Julius nodded.

She looked into Aria's green eyes that made her smile and then Julius' food arrived.

"What class are you going to go for? Apart from magic and swordsmanship?" She asked and Julius already knew the answer to this one.

"I want to learn more on magic arrays and formations."
