Chapter 109. Reunion at Argus

Silva POV

Midterms are now over and are graded.

Ruby: Take that, Yang! I did better than you, so pay up!

Yang: By one point, Ruby. ONE POINT!

Ruby: Yeah, yeah, you still have to pay up.

Yang grumbled and paid Ruby her due as they had a bet going on to motivate themselves to do better on midterms. Weiss rolls her eyes at her teammate's antics, and Blake ignores them. As for team PLAN (platinum), Pyrrha had a perfect score, Ren had the second-highest score in the team, with Jeanne and Nora surprisingly tying with one another.

Emerald and Ilia did well on midterms and team CFVY. Coco actually got the best score in her team, followed by Velvet, then Fox, then Yatsuhashi. I clapped loudly to get everyone's attention and said.

Silva: Okay, with midterms over, how about we party at my place to celebrate.

Almost everyone gave a cheer in agreement, and I opened a portal to the castle. I already had plenty of everyone's favorite foods made in advance to celebrate the end of the midterms. Everyone started digging in and partying until nighttime came.

I sent everyone to where they wanted to stay for the first week of summer break, and I looked towards Pyrrha and asked.

Pyrrha nodded, and I opened one last portal to Argus. After Pyrrha and I went through, we overlooked Argus, and she commented.

Pyrrha: To think we would be together again after those few years apart, and here we are back at Argus. Mom is not going to let me hear the end of this anytime soon.

Silva: Why is that?

Pyrrha: Mom is aware of the reality a Huntress has to face at some point, taking people's lives to save the innocent. I chuckled at the last part and said.

Pyrrha blushed slightly at my comment and cleared her throat, then said.

Pyrrha: Well, let's go surprise mom with our sudden visit.

I smiled and gestured for her to lead the way, and I followed her down memory lane. Seventeen going on to 18 years since I came to be in this world, and I move forward as best as I can despite those b*stard gods that gave me immortality, a few centuries I wouldn't turn down but an eternity if I am unlucky makes death only looks more inviting. I saw Pyrrha's home and looked at her as she took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. Moments later, Pyrrha's mother, Scarlet, appeared and said in surprise seeing her daughter.

Scarlet: Pyrrha!? How are you here and why didn't you tell me you were coming?

Pyrrha sheepishly replied.

Pyrrha: Surprise...

Scarlet pulled her daughter into a tight hug, and after letting Pyrrha go, she finally noticed me.

Scarlet: Silva!? Good to see you after so long. Pyrrha, how come I am learning just now that you reconnected with Silva?

Pyrrha: Um, I a, oh, well you see.

Silva: Yes, she has real friends in the form of her teammates and outside it. She also wears the badge of a leader well.

Scarlet: I am glad to hear that, and Silva, please continue to look after her.

Silva: Always.

We soon finished the dishes, and I headed to Pyrrha's room to sleep for the night. I knocked on her door, and she soon opened it in her pajamas.

Pyrrha: Oh, hey Silva, just tidying up my room.

I decided to ask her directly.

Silva: Want to sleep together like in the past?

( The following morning)

Pyrrha and I are off on a date around Argus for the day after breakfast. We decided to start by doing some light sparring at the park that Pyrrha likes to train at, nothing serious, just some practicing for hand-to-hand combat. After an hour, we went to see what was playing at the movie theater in Argus. Pyrrha picked out an action romance comedy called Love, Guns, and Grimm.

An alright movie that romanticizes Huntsmen and Huntresses going against impossible odds only to get a pyrrhic victory in the end with some funny bits here and there. After two hours, the movie finally ended, and we decided to grab some lunch at a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, as we ate, some random fool walked up and said.

( Hours later)
