Lily's POV
I was shocked. “You mean, you have a villain on that island?”
“Yes, I have,” Adrian answered casually in a low voice.
“Who will stay there if you already have a villa here?” I asked as sudden curiosity rose in my thoughts.
“This villa is my gift for you, and the villa in Green Island is for our family, for our children who want to stay there or here.”
I was dumbfounded. Did I hear it right?
“For me? Is this villa a gift for me? Excuse me, come again. Who’s villa is this?”
“I told you already, right?” he glanced at me.
I was bewildered. What did he say? No, no, no. It wasn’t possible that this villa was a gift for me. We didn’t have a relationship, and I might have heard it wrong; it was just a mistake. I shook my head and felt pain in my temples.
“Are you okay,” Adrian looked at me. I could see the worry on his face.
“I have a sudden headache,” I said.
“Okay, let’s go upstairs,” he said.
Adrian stood up and bent down to carry me. I was surprised.
