First day at the Castle part 1

Amethyst woke to smelling cooking meat. Just then a bipedal lizard came to the doorway. Amethyst used inspect and found the lizard was a kobold. "Breakfast will be ready soon and Yuna has requested you and your family join her." the kobold said looking at the floor. The clothes the kobold wore was tattered and stained. When the kobold continued standing there she Amethyst figured the kobold was waiting for something. "er... thank you we will be down." she responded to the kobold. The kobold left the doorway. Amethyst watched her family sleep sadly. She didn't know when she would spend time with them like this again. Getting up she nudged her mom and dad awake. "Yuna has requested us at breakfast" she informed her parents.

A few minutes later the whole family was awake and walking down the hall to the dining room. The archway to the dining room was pretty the wood looked like it was braided. Inside was the huge stone table, it looked like it was marble. The table's height was at Yuna's elbow when she stood up. There were padded stools for Amethyst and her family. After they were seated at the table Yuna spoke. "I was thinking last night. Would you mind Sapphire and Crimson staying also?" Yuna asked. "They also have great potential and we always want to nurture and help our young ones reach their full potential," Yuna explained.

"It would be an honor to have them study here." father said bowing his head in respect. "Good," Yuna said nodding. Just then several kobolds walked in carrying platters of food. A Purple Dragonborn walked in. "For breakfast, we have prepared grilled giant guinea pig with crimson gem mixed with your favorite fruits, scaleberry, and maplefruit." said the Dragonborn as he bows to Yuna. As he spoke two lizardmen carried in a big mug and set it by Yuna and more kobolds placed small mugs beside the pseudodragons. Once everything was set down and uncovered the kobolds and lizardmen left. Yuna started eating picking up the meat in her claws. Amethyst copied and ate.

After everyone had eaten the Dragonborn signaled and the kobolds and lizardmen came and took the leftovers into the kitchen. "Have a safe journey home" Yuna said to her mother and father. "Thank you for having us Yuna" father replied before saying his goodbyes to Amethyst and her clutch-mates.

"Now you will find your. You will know your partner when you see them. You will be drawn to them. You will help each other grow." Yuna explained leading them into a courtyard.

In the courtyard were various creatures. The one that caught her attention was a little ice blue feline with yellow eyes. The cat was sitting a bit away from the group. Amethyst guess the cat was nervous and alone. Amethyst used inspect on the cat.

Amethyst decided to talk to the cub. She walked over. "Hello, I am Amethyst. I am a pseudodragon." she introduced telepathically herself. The cub blinked at her before responding.

"I am Tyshi, I am a snow tiger cub" she responded telepathically. "I guess we are meant to be partners?" the cub asked. "I guess so. Yuna did say we would be drawn to eachother." Amethyst answered. They sat together and talked about where they were from.

Yuna's voice called out "Now we shall show you where youll sleep and keep your things" Yuna headed inside. They entered opposite where they had come to get to the courtyard. They walked for about 5 minutes before they arrived outside the castle. They were lead through a forrest for another 8 minutes before they came to a clearing. In the clearing were several stone buildings.

"This is the school" Yuna said Yuna walked toward one of the stone buildings. It was rather large. "This is the dorms as humans would call it. It is where you will sleep and store stuff." Yuna explained. "Your dorm manager Alex" Yuna pointed to a very big squirrel with a satchel " will show you your rooms." Yuna finished before she headed back to the castle.

Amethyst used inspect on Alex. Alex was a dire squirrel.

Alex lead them inside and put Amethyst and Tyshi in a room together. Her siblings were by her room. Amethyst's room had no furnishings but had a few lights and a window looking out at the forest. The lights were magic orbs of light that she discovered she could turn on and of by touching and willing it to.

"Hello, my name is Vanya and I have been selected to be Tyshi's and Amethyst's servent" said a voice from the doorway. Amethyst turned to the doorway to see a black kobold.

"Welcome Vanya, I have a few requests. Is there a way to close the door?" Amethyst asked.

"Yes, you put your foot paw or hand here." Vanya pointed to a smooth lighter color spot of wood by the doorway. "and will it to open or close" she responded. "oh, thanks. next can we have something to sleep on? I know I would like something soft to lay on. maybe a pelt? Tyshi what would you prefer?" Amethyst asked. " a fur pelt sounds good 1 for me too please." Tyshi responded.

Vanya bowed "I will get some right away. Is there anything else you need?"

Amethyst looked at Tyshi. Tyshi shook her head. Looking back at Vanya Amethyst responded. "Not at this time and thank you Vanya" Vanya smiled and disappered down the hall.
