THE BIRTH OF A NEW KING 2

In a very small village , a suburb of the water nation called warno , A woman's cried were heard she is giving birth to a child she is screaming wincing and crying from the pain " somebody help me , help me somebody it is very painful i can't bear it aaarrrghhh ".

The husband of the woman shouting is called Matthew and he is very disturbed when he heard the screams of his wife , he had a very bad feeling that there is something bad coming to happen

FEW MINUTES LATER

"Congratulations!! sir " said a midwife with a smile on her face . A huge smile crept onto Matthew's lips "is my wife fine and what about my baby , is it a boy or a girl or i had twins or triplets and are they fine " Matthew loaded the nurse with questions " the nurse replied come on sir how do you expect me to answer all these questions at once after all how many mouths do i have , " first of all your wife gave birth to a boy , secondly your baby is fine the third one is a very bad news and sad news for you. what do u mean it is a sad news , " Matthew asked as he was scared , hmmm sir the bad news is that your wife did not survive after she have birth to your boy .

This news was like a bomb thrown at Matthew ( but no bombs existed at that time ) Matthew did not talk he went to the back of the building and sat on a stone and was crying whiles speaking " what have I done to deserve such a punishment even if i have offended some one is this the way to pay back , why why " as he was crying .

so he asked the nurses in the hospital to keep the body of his wife and preserve it for him till the next day and he left with his baby boy .

THE NEXT DAY

It was morning and it was a very said day for Matthew, he decided to go to work but he made up his mind not to tell anyone about what happened the previous day because of this he took shine to a nun in the area whom everyone has been talking food of her " pls take care of my sin very well for him i will come and take him in the afternoon please , am off to work bye miss and he kissed the baby's forehead " the nun waved back at him and went inside with the baby and what happened in the room is a mystery .

Matthew remembered his wife , he started crying , as he was crying he saw his work place not very far from where he was standing so he cleaned the tears and tried to be as happy as he can be so that nobody will suspect that something has happened to him .

AT WORK

Matthew was very sad and he couldn't even concentrate on his work he will walk slowly if he was called by someone to bring food , the people saw him as lazy and slow they even began to curse him especially the rich ones began to leave the restaurant to another restaurant this got Matthew's boss very angry 😡 so he called Matthew and he said angrily

" you see what you have caused you see you have annoyed our rich customers to leave , what is wrong with you are you mad or what tell me Matthew , YOU ARE FIRED !!!! GET OUT NOW!!!" .

Today was a bad day for Matthew he went to the nun's house and went for his little baby he gave the nun twenty meyes ( their currency) he went to put his son down on a small wooden cot with hay inside it the baby was asleep so he went for the body of his wife from the hospital.

He took the corpse of his wife to the Riverside and arranged sticks like a bed and poured a liquid that will help him light the fire very fast and keep it burning till the body turns to ash ( kerosene) so he took two stones(flint or limestone ) and will crash the stone in his left hand with the right hand close to the dry leaves that he poured the kerosene on he did it several times until the dry leaves was lighted and produced fire and it travelled to the corpse and burned it , Matthew was crying as he watched the body of his wife being burnt.

FEW MINUTES LATER

The corpse was totally burnt and it turned into ashes , he gathered it and poured it into a small pot. he put the little pot which contained the ash of his wife on the flowing river and the water took it away he was crying as he was doing all this , what can he do ' nothing ' he can't revive her it was fate's decision " may your soul rest in peace my wife , i will fulfill all your wishes and take care of your son ( sorry, our son) i will protect him from any harm " as he was crying .

NOTE : I must imitate some indians culture make the story interesting
