Anxiety
The feeling of having her in his arms didn't absolutely calm his soul, he was still panicking and that scene was still flashing in his head to an extent where he pictured her dead, their marriage was just a month and he hadn't even had enough of her, not only that, he hadn't even confessed his love for her and she almost died a few minutes ago.
'What if she really died? What if she had...' that voice rang in his head, causing him to push her out to see her face and then, he held her face so tight, quaking like a leaf on a tree.
Mona could feel his anxiety and his worry, his hands shaking had said it all.
"Mona," he whispered. It was a miracle to have her still with him. He imagined her body being covered by nurses saying she was dead and that made his heart so weak.
"I was so scared," he was shaking big time that she had to hold his hand and use her eyes to explain to him that she was okay.
