The mask

[Yuito's POV]

Vivi was the only daughter of a billionaire from China. She was a child spoilt to the bone since she was a baby.

She was also addicted to drugs and since drug use was very restricted in China and could cause a scandal to her father's reputation if found out, she came to Korea where she could indulge in her addiction without any risk.

Her father owned the Vivi Hotel Franchise which is a multi-million dollar business in China, he expanded his business in Korea solely because of his daughter.

That's where the Worker comes in. They ally with her father and agreed to expand the business and also set up the Third Affiliate for her daughter.

Now, the Vivi Hotel has grown to the point that it has become a place where famous celebrities and other billionaire kids from all over the world can do drugs.

And right now, I was standing in front of that hotel. My decision was that I was going to stay in this hotel from now on. At least until my girls joined me.

{Do you truly believe this is a good idea?} The author asked.

"Negative. It's a stupid idea, especially when I know that things are going to get heated up soon." I answered. 

"But I can't just sit still and do nothing when things go down right?" I said. There was going to be a war between the third affiliate and the main casts of Lookism soon.

It was not certain that the plot would stay the same with all the changes in the world so I have to make sure it stays the same.

Besides that, they were a dangerous organization which is better off eradicated. They were going to get attacked, so why not use this chance to make sure they were destroyed?

It was better to destroy the threat when I had the chance.

Not only was it to make Korea safer for me and my family but I was also driven by my morals. I have no problem if some spoiled kids decide to use drugs and shorten their lives. In fact, that would be great for the world.

What I was not okay with was their other business. Supplying drugs to cults and gangs who used their drugs to ruin the lives of people. And their habit of inviting influencers and drugging them to take advantage of them.

All for the entertainment of the billionaire's kids.

it would be wrong of me to not put a stop to that when I have the power and the perfect opportunity - the plot of Lookism - had presented itself to me.

If things went according to the canon. Daniel would destroy the Third Affiliate. I simply had to make sure he was successful this time around and help where I could.

And of course, let's not forget the fact that lots of fights were going to take place and it was the perfect opportunity for me to train myself and get stronger for my upcoming fight.

If my last fight in Korea was anything to go by, then I would see huge improvements again this time.

'I can't wait.'

I went inside the hotel and quickly booked a luxurious suite for myself. They were extremely cooperative when they realised my identity so I faced no problem.

In the first place, Hotel Vivi in Korea was a place for Celebrities to do drugs and any other illegal things they wanted. So it went without a problem.

I was led to the suite by a butler and given a small tour. He showed me where the pools were, the gym, the dinner place and all that.

After he was done, I was left alone in my suite. I took out my phone called my previous hotel and asked them to deliver my luggage to the Vivi hotel. I have already packed it and kept it in my room.

They must be questioning themselves as to why I was suddenly changing hotels. Maybe some employees would be fired so I made sure to thank them for their services and mention that the change was due to some personal issues.

Ten minutes passed and a butler came into my room with one luggage. He also gave me a VIP card to the club Vivi which was in the same building.

I thanked him and gave him gum from my pocket. Too bad I already gave all of my money to the girl in the restaurant.

But it seemed that did not upset him and he simply asked me for an autograph. I was happy to give it to him and also sighed in his palm.

Korea was one of the few countries where I would be treated like this by random people. They admired fighters and were very into combat sports in general.

I put the luggage on my bed and opened it. 

"There it is." I said with a smile and looked at the mask which was at the top of everything else.

Have I ever mentioned that I owned a few mask companies in my preparation for COVID? Well, they were not limited to the doctor's mask you are thinking.

In fact, they were all companies that made sick masks for bikers, travellers, soldiers, cosplayers etc. The mundane masks popular during COVID did not even have a market right now.

And I had the mask custom-made by them.

I took out the mask and looked at it carefully. The quality was top-notch and it was made to fit me perfectly.

If I wanted to involve myself in the coming conflict, I could not just interfere as Yuito Fujita. That would put a target on me and I was too influential so whatever I was involved in would be taken as a huge incident.

That's why I had this mask made.

It was similar to how James Lee - a celebrity - wore a mask and hat whenever he wanted to interfere with the matters of the Four Major Crews. 

{That mask turned out even better than I expected. But I still think you should've gone with a Batman mask.} The author commented.

"And why would I want a Batman mask?"

{Obviously, because no one would question who you are and even if they ask, you could always say 'I'm batman' or 'I'm vengeance'.} 

"Fair enough." I shrugged.

The mask had the same design as the Sniper Mask from High-Rise Invasion. It was a white mask with a simple smiling face and a black hat on it.

The trick to it was that they were connected so they were one piece. The materials were also high quality so that they would not tear or burn easily.

I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror. The design might look mundane and it seemed like you could get a similar mask anywhere but you would know how well made it was when you wear it.

My vision was undisturbed and it did not feel stuffy while wearing it. I could hear everything perfectly while also having enough tightness so that it wouldn't fall off no matter what activity I performed.

It was also tightly wrapped to my head so it wouldn't be easy to take off even if someone pulled it.

"This is perfect." I said, my voice also came out different due to the way it was designed.

If my voice was recorded, it wouldn't match with Yuito Fujita's voice

I turned to the VIP card for Vivi's club.

Let's get myself familiar with the future battlefield, shall we?

Author : I know many of you guys are bored and I am too and I even feel a little embarassed posting this but it Is needed. If you are not Lookism fan, it would be hard to enjoy but bear with me.

I cook from chapter 262 onwards. Like really cooked, I think, at least that's what the Patreons told me.
